| awesome! | |||
| Well, everything!
- does washing and drying without switching machines - uses less water - uses less electricity - uses less detergent - fits a KING sized comforter! - tons of settings including delay wash - requires NO vent (just a drain, hot and cold water) - requires NO 220 volt outlet - requires half the space of US conventional washer/dryer - put laundry in and forget it - no LINT (what little there is goes down the drain) keeping your laundry area clean AND your clothes last longer |

| Excellent machine! Everyone in the US should get one.
Whatever problem some people have with clothes not getting dry - we are NOT having that problem. Additionally wear and tear on clothes is almost non-existent. We're a family of 3 (two adults and one child) and it has no problem keeping up with us even with yard work clothes. Very important to have it as level as possible and on as secure a floor as possible (cement best) due to very high spin - it will vibrate if off balance. So far we're so happy with it that we wish we'd bought it a long time ago! |

| Amazing!! | |||
| This machine is wonderful. I am a massage therapist. I wash LOTS of sheets. And they are oily from the lotion. I used to have to presoak for an hour, then prewash, then wash, then dry. I still had an oily smell in the sheets even though they seemed clean. Now I just put them in there, add the cleaning agents, set it and go. WOW!!!! These are the cleanest they have been EVER. Now I can set the machine and leave the house. When I come back, they are dry and wonderful. Oh, and by the way, they do regular laundry just fine. | |||
| The only tihing that is just slightly difficult is the longer time it takes to do the load and adjusting my biased self to learn a new trick of accepting this small inconvenience. Gee, if I read the instructions and just play with it, I can really do well and have more time, have cleaner laundry, save energy and water and cut the noise down in my house by over half. | |||
| I would heartily recommend the unit. It is somewhat unusual to get used to if you've never used a front loader (like me). But it really does a wonderful job and it is so quiet you'll forget you had a load in there. | |||

| LG WM3677HW Review | |||
| Compact, since this is machine that washes and dries, it will save you more space than the top-bottom washer dryers. Also the dry cycle is quiet. We used to have an old Kenmore (10 years) and when washing baby clothes with buttons and tacks, the noise of these buttons would drive me crazy. Since the LG dries slow (we'll talk about that later), you barely hear it. Also, the LG does not require an exhaust tube from the back and will only work on a regular plug (the same as any other plug in the house). | |||
| First off, the cycles are programmed meaning if you start a wash and decide to turn it off, you can't (or I still haven't figured it out) continue from the spin cycle without starting over from the wash cycle. However you can only start a dry cycle. Speaking of spin cycle... This thing spins. Seriously, even if you have it leveled properly, the floor will shake. And the spin cycle is the loudest cycle. If you in an apartment or condo make sure your neighbors are not difficult people. Also, a complete cycle is about 4 hours. Still I have not started and completed a cycle and came back and the clothes were dry. I always have to dry for an extra 1 hour. If you have a heavy load such as bedding stuff, you'll have to dry an extra 2 hours. It dries with hot air. The clothes come out hot just like a regular dryer. | |||
| I still wouldn't trade it because for me the important thing is to save space. I often start one on my way out to work and when I come back, I just program it for an extra hour of drying. It really beats having to remove the clothes from the washer and put it in the dryer and start a dry cycle. Also the fact that the dryer is VERY quiet, it's like its not even working. I wasn't able to sleep with the old dryer, this one doesn't bother me. Bottom line, 2 problems: It spins so fast that you need to have it on a solid foundation (basement) or the shaking of the floor will bother you and #2, it's not dry when it says it is. If you have questions you can write to me as it was quite frustrating not to find any reviews on this item when I was shopping and I had rely mostly on the salesperson's word. | |||
