| Good for Mac users | |||
| Easy to set up with straightforward instructions. Fully compatible with Apple Macs. iChat video conferencing works well with it. I get a good, reliable signal strength throughout my house. The most recent version is white so looks very good sat next to my iMac! | |||
| The software looks a bit dated and isn't terribly intuitive. | |||
| Reliable, no nonsense, stylish wireless router. | |||

| Easy to set up, only took 10 minutes I know nothing about PCs. Just follow instruction, I found it easier then Belkin, I spent 3 days and 10 hours and gave up and swopt. | |||
| None that I can think of | |||

| Signal Performance
Compatability with AOL support Looks good Very compact Very well regarded in other hardware reviews |
|||
| Setting up is quite simple, but lack of instructions (needs to be printed from the website or AOL). | |||
| Superb performance, and being a complete IT spod, I understand WEP encryption and setting up now.
I encountered problems when I realised my ethernet cable on my laptop was faulty, so setting up took a long time. But once running, it's superb. wireless technology (via network card slot) is faster than ADSL USB connection simply because my USB is wearing out from using loads of devices (cameras, mouse, printers etc). Hence, not suffering from slow down any more. |

| I tried to set up a Belkin wireless modem router but after a long time trying to set it up and getting free phone support had to give up.
Took the Belkin back and got this Netgear router. Struggled to set it up on the first evening but the next morning I switched it on and heh presto was able to network my 2 laptops and a PC wirelessly. (IP Wanado) Setup is still fiddly but I am pleased so far with the results |
