| This unit has extremely poor quality. I have had several repairs in home use and now must replace the hose at a cost of $60 USD. My garage Electrolux has had the same hose for 30 years. The Dyson works well, but is made very poorly. They should spend more time on product quality and less on hype. | |||

| It breaks down a lot, doesn't pick up dog hair (beagle), it's bulky/heavy, doesn't vaccum stairs well, can only vacuum for 5 minutes as it constantly overheats and Dyson's customer service is dreadful. | |||
| Started off well but is now a dreadful machine, when you ring Dyson they ask you what time the engineer should avoid (school run) and that's when they turn up. You can't complain to anyone because company policy is not to give out managers names. Turbo head is useless and I have tried it both on the hose and the wand. Suction is useless, you have to vacuum the Dyson with another vacuum to keep the cyclone clear.
I will never buy a Dyson again and Mr Dyson, you need to sort out your customer services - this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. |

| Superior cleaning! | |||
| I was a little sceptical about this purchase, i paid £225 (inc free delivery, and 1000 clubcard points!) from Tesco.com. A replacement for my Electrolux Bagless cleaner, which had started to self destruct after 5 years. After umming & arring over the price, i decided to go for it. A decision i have not regretted! The carpets are immaculate! It really does suck up every last speck of dust, you can even see it sucking up the carpet from the floor! I have 2 cats, one of whom is particularly fluffy. This vacuum cleaner is superb at picking up cat hair. I also have long hair, and for all those women with long hair (and some men), you will know that your hair gets everywhere. This vacuum cleaner picks up every single strand of hair. The attachments are very useful, particularly the mini turbo brush, perfect for stairs & hoovering the car. The house has never been so clean!!!!!!!!!! | |||

Mini turbine brush very good for dog hairs. No doubt about it. It really pulls the dust out of carpets. |

| Far too heavy & difficult to push round.
Tall base prevents vacuum going under low furniture. Extending metal wand was such a tight fit on hose that it was a struggle to use !! ( Poor quality control & not what you expect from a £230 vac. ) |

my Dc07 is a great upright it compliments my small dco5 i find dysons great. i used the original dyson for many years and was completely satisfied with the service it provided. |

| easy to operate, and they do a professional job of cleaning,
and easy to empty the cylinder. tools are easily accessable being attached to the main machine. no more hunting for individual tools. |

| everything. really good cleaner especially like the function to switch off the rollers so that is is much more efficent on laminate flooring. well designed. does the job. bought it through the co-op site not the cheapest (although close) but service excellent. delivered ealier than expected. i rang first to check availability. no problems. | |||

| I have a long haired dog and wanted a hoover that would pick up the dog hairs, I have had 3 different hoovers in as many years, I can honestly say I was'nt satisfied with any of them. A friend suggested having a Dyson Animal, I was'nt very keen at first as I had a Dyson when they first came out and I didn't like it. She lent me hers to try ( she has had hers over a year) and I was blown away. I immediatly went out and bought one, I have had it for nearly 3 months now and I cant fault it. Thank you Dyson, at last I feel they are listening to the average housewife. Well worth the money. | |||

| It really works! Does everything it says it can! (how many products can you recall that say that and don't deliver!) As a design engineer myself I can see that Dyson have put an enormous amount of effort into this product and has come along way from your typical bagged hoover. Attachments are quick and easy to use the extra 'animal' (hair pick up thingy) reallys picks up hairs!! and the suction is wonderful (please no jokes!) the best bit though is there's NO BAG to replace and the filters have never looked dirty or clogged in all the 10 months I've been using it. | |||

| Highly recommended, had mine 10 months (this item replaced a lesser competitors bagless vacuum that failed under warranty!) brilliant for me as an animal lover (1 very hairy dog) and allergy sufferer (less days spent sneezing and wheezing!). Wouldn't return to a bag if you paid me. May seem expensive but well worth the extra money. | |||

| The DC07 Animal is a very effective tool for combating dog hair. The special animal tool is Extremley effective at removing pet hair. | |||
| Still am not a great fan of the way the hose connects to the wand, seems very brittle and an area i think Dyson need to concentrate on. | |||
| If you are wanting a hoover that will outperform anything on the market then the Dyson is for you. The only gripe is the cheap feel about it. No problem with it doing the job but certainly will not be cleaning your floors in 5 years time, that's a fact.
Did have a DC04 Deji Stilj and the cable has a loose connection in the hoover. Couldn't get into switch housing to fix so bought new for £210. |

| The Dyson 04 that we had was good, but this is brilliant. Partner has allergies that the 04 eased but the Animal collected dirt that 04 missed. Easy to use. The stair and furniture attachment is wonderful. Cannot speak highly enough of this vacuum. | |||

| WE WANTED A DYSON FOR SOME TIME HAVING A CAT AND DOG BUT ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT A DYSON WAS TO EXPENSIVE BUT DECIDED TO GO FOR IT ANYWAY. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID ONCE USED YOU WILL NEVER LOOK AT ANOTHER VACUM AGAIN, I VACUMED MY CARPET WITH A 3 YEAR OLD UPRIGHT CLEANER AND THEN USED THE DYSON I WAS AMAZED AT THE HAIR AND DUST THAT OTHER CLEANERS LEAVE BEHIND. BUY ONE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

| I had previously intended to buy a dyson before the dual cyclone was produced. I was put off by the cost and bought a vacuum from a competitor which I believed would be 'just like a dyson'. How wrong can you be?. I am now a firm believer in the saying 'You get what you pay for' and the dyson is proof of it. My carpets look like new - the next task is to vacuum the mattress on the bed - and then promptly throw up when I see what it has sucked up. Bravo Mr Dyson | |||

| First dyson - having had a leading competitors cyclone cleaner before - I used it for the first time on my clean carpets and just two stripes yielded a handfull of dust and fluff.
Can't fault it......a must for all houses! |
