| Fantastic Family Fun ! | |||
| Ok, this printer is quite old now but its still great. Printers nowadays are so cheap, and at the price you get quality in all departments for this printer and yes its cheap as well! it might not be really, really fast at printing but its not slow. Whats the hurry? this was not designed for an office where deadlines are crucial!! The quality of print out is fantastic its hardworking, and i use this 3-4 times a week since March 2005 i havent had to mess around with it to make it work much apart from change the cartridges, they are expensive but...who says you have to buy the official ones? | |||
| Its slow to send the information to the printer sometimes, if you send several documents at once but who cares?
The LCD display is obsolete most of the time because direct printing (from camera media) does not label the number of the file correctly instead it uses its own list 1,2,3,4, etc...so your better of printing from the computer via usb port. |
|||
| A superb family printer, you wont need to constantly have to clean the printer nozzles and mess around with it. I should now i have owned it for over a year! Just turn it on its versatile in producing good photos (quality from the shop) and perfectly clear documents - i.e. letters, homework...just used it now turned it on for to print 10 pages and the quality comes out perfect everytime fab...... | |||

| Brilliant - Easy Set up, Simple to Install and no one should have any problems.
I see many improvements in this model compared with earlier Epson printers. Printer Software "Epson PhotoQuicker" - Very Good and it's about time. This software allows you to load many pictures at the same time. Provides you with a Thumbnail of each photo, you then select what you want printed, and follow the very simple menu system to print - I selected 50+ photo's and just left it do work, it was BRILLIANT. Earlier Epson printers just "Bomb Out" Printing times are as good as stated in the Marketing Spec Print Quality is superb (Using EpsonPremium Glossy Paper) Ink Usage is good - 1 set of cartridges printed 240 6"x4" photo's on Premium Glossy and still had some colour left in some cartrdiges. Overall this is a Fantastic Printer, very functional, quick and great quality. |
|||
| 6 Printer cartridges could be considered a negative BUT unlike previous models, now you only change the colour that's run out - rather than the entire colour cartridge just because Magenta has run out. Functionally it's a PLUS, Cost is the NEGATIVE.
PhotoQuicker Software - It would be good if they allowed some photo editing & manipulation of the image such as Red Eye & colour balance. Other than that "It does what it says on the box" Cables - Epson do not supply the USB cable that you will require, check your PC for USB-1 or USB-2 and buy the appropriate cable if you need one. |
|||
| This is without doubt the best printer that I have ever bought.
The Quality of output is fantastic considering the low cost of the actual printer. I read other reviews on PriceRunner and was concerned BUT I have not had any of the difficulties that others have stated. For those who have any doubts, I would suggest they go to a PC World Store (Or others) and ask for a Demo, they'll be STUNNED at the speed for high Qaulity photo's. I've been in Digital Photography for many years, sometimes being the 1st to get new Canon & Nikon camera's and actually having my shot's published in various magazine. Consider the price 1st but; BUY THIS PRODUCT - you won't regret it!! |

| Gives high quality prints when printing correctly | |||
| Constantly requires head cleaning, often several times at once to attain acceptable test print. Cleaning heads uses excessive amout of ink. Set of cartridges are almost half the price of the printer and only last about two weeks on what I would consider to be light usage printing photo quality prints. | |||
| Be prepared to spend large amounts on cartridges and time on constant head cleaing. Can only recommend this printer because of the low price, but this is counteracted by the high cost of cartridges. prints are excellent when operating correctly | |||

| The quality of prints are so much better than what I was expecting and I was very surprised how functional it was. Photo quality is superb when you use direct printing straight from the memory card. The speed of prints is also quiet and fast. In comparison to the Canon I threw out it wins hands down on every selling point. The CD/DVD is also remarkably of good quility.The huge paper tray is a definate bonus for me as I print a lot of paper documents from home.
|
|||
| It is a bit slow when you do turn it on but that could just be because I currently use USB 1 not 2. | |||
| Overall a fantastic little printer with the bonus option of six cartridges which does enhance print quality no end. I never recommend anything but this printer has not only met my expectations but it actually exceeded, it''s a great product and worth every penny. Canon & HP better watch out Epson have just raised the stakes for YOUR profits. | |||

| I bought the printer so that my wife could print her digital pictures without 'hooking' up to a computer. This printer fulfilled that need. Althought daunting at first the printer is easy to use (even for my wife). The picture quality is excellent . An added bonus are six ink cartridges. | |||
| The computer program can be a bit fiddly to use until you get used to it. | |||
| An excellent printer which is easy to use and l economical to run | |||

| cracking printer giving excellent photographs, with fantastic colours. Can honestly say that this is the best printer I have ever owned.
having 6 ink cartridges is distinct a plus. |
|||
| None obvious so far. However there is no doubt that the ink costs are high, but this is no different from most other printers. | |||
| I can reccomed this printer to anyone who wishes to print their own pohotographs. You will not be disappointed with the results. | |||

| epson r3oo printer | |||
| it has the expected epson build quality.
seeing it for the first time it looks quite high tect (for the average user ! ), but it is all really straight forward stuff and self explanitory. it will be hard to be beaten on its printing capabilities ( price for price ). in operation it runs smooth and fairly quietly. |
|||
| it is somewhat slow from the time you press print till it actually starts printing.
some people might think it is quite bulky looking. supplied with a printing cable would be a nice 'extra' from the epson people ( minor gripe ). |
|||
| depending on personal use & budget this is a cracking printer.
my results so far have been above & beyond expectation. the fact that it has 6 cartridges still remains to be seen as a strength or weakness. within its price range it surely is the front runner and bench mark for all to aspire to. i'm glad i took the plunge on this r300 model. |

| Best value ..best photo prints | |||
| Build quality is next to none. Photo quality is as good as it comes. Speed is very good and noise is acceptable for an epson. Can print on to Cd's and DVDs and does it well.The ink usage so far has been about average.Uses 6 ink cartridges. | |||
| A bit slow to fire up when on idle and sent print command. larger than my HP 940c. Paper feeds from back and not from under slung tray like HP.I have been told that they do not like copy ink cartridges. As there is only on average of £2-3 difference between original and a copy ink cartridge, probably best to go for genuine.Average price for genuine cartridge is £11. | |||
| I have been looking for a printer for some time now, and this came out tops in many. So i opted for this and God! Ain't I glad!
Find it ...buy it! |
