| Beware of Dixons aftersales care they offer a 28 day returns policy my tom tom failed after 20 days I rang 0870 333 1222 advisor agreed to replace and send a couriers return label in post I rang back after a week they had no record of my call and told me that 28 days had passed so told not to bother them but to contact tom tom uk rang but engaged for hours | |||

| The mount did not stay on the widowscreen from the word go.. but I screwed it onto my dash and that works out better anyway.
I don't use the battery as such.. just keep it plugged into the car the entire journey.. |

| I bought my Tom Tom One 7 weeks ago, in that time it has died on me twice. The first time it happened thankfully I was almost home so it was not a problem, took it home, bought a home charger (was advised to put it on a full charge) and charged for 2 hours until battery showed full. Second time it died it was plugged into car charger, fully charged, I got completely lost and it is now completely dead, will not turn on and waiting to be returned when I can find the time between work and home life. I paid the full price from a reputable shop and it is a bitter disappointment as I feel unable to trust TomTom now. | |||

| I just bought a car and decided that I can't live without a SatNav. Based on reviews at various websites, I choose TomTom One.
On my first ever drive on the Motorway, when I am about to reach my exit, my TomTom died! Had to drive on one hand and start this kit. It worked till I reached my destination. On my return, I tried starting and it won't come up!! I had to borrow my friend's kit to reach home. Not a pleasant experience with TomTom. Can't see any issue with the battery as I always kept it charged while driving. After two days it started working all in a sudden!! No reset and nothing was done my side. Don't know what to do with this. Waiting it for it fail again so that I can return it. |

- I used it all the way from South England to Midlands and found it precise (except for asking me to go through no entry - but that is probably the case in all GPRS) |
