| What are the strengths? |
It looks sooo cute when you look at it. It a great conversation starter at parties etc., and the design is nice and old-fashioned. |
| What are the weaknesses? |
Well, starting off with 1) the cheapish plastic material it is made of. I expected (from what I'd seen on the pictures) that it was kind of heavy, and with metal details. Don't be deceived- it's all plastic.
2) There is no built-in flash! Indoor it is almost impossible to take a decent picture, because of the light conditions. You will have to buy the flash on the side, and this is expensive and, at the time, also unavailable on the Minox website.
3) The price. For those kind of money, you could get a regular digital cam with a quality that is five times better! What you're paying for is the look.
4) Extremely slow shutter speed.
5) If you're a shaky person, don't buy this camera. You have to hold it completely still to take a good picture. |
