I was surprised when i discovered that this camera is offerring the features of a much advanced camera and for a price that is so much less. | Best buy | |||
| Image quality is amazing. Also the picture taking time is really fast. Well priced and the USB makes transfer very easy. | |||
| The LCD is slightly smaller than the one in my last Digital camera. This also makes the color look faded in it. The smallish body makes gripping a little difficult. | |||
| This is a really good camera for such a reasonable price. Its quick in it's functions, works well, gives sharp and great pictures and the USB makes transfer of data very comfortable. LCD can be improved upon and color seems to wash out on the smallish LCD. | |||

| Good pictures just a click away | |||
| well-priced, good quality pictures, Good performance in low light | |||
| Very small LCD which reflects sunlight and hampers the view. Plastic body which does not suit the brand name. | |||
| Its a marginally good camera, which works well, satisfies all requirements. Only drawback is the small LCD, which also looks misplaces. The body of the camera feels plastic and cheap. Otherwise, it is a good peice which churns out great pictures, works well in all lights, has a good response system and is priced marginally well too. | |||

| Brilliance personified | |||
| Its lightweight and simple to use.
|
|||
| It is difficult to view the LCD in too much sunlight. Since I have large hands, the camera seems to small to fit in my palm. | |||
| Its an reasonably priced SLR, and in comparision to my last Nikon which was also an entry level SLR, this one has superior quality functionality. After leafing through the manual, handling the camera became much more easy. Its so small that sometimes I feel that it will just slip off my hands. Other than that, it has great picture quality and image sharpness is exceptional. Its shooting speed is also much faster than the Nikon.

| Excellent | |||
| An excellent camera, the Canon EOS 350 D has everything a digi cam can feature at an Affordable Price. Fast and responsive, great image and solid performance. Lightweight and compact.... | |||
| The lightweight factor though good, can be a little troublesome as the design is not equipped for comfortable handling. | |||
| Other than that, it is a superb camera. The Canon EOS 350 D is an exceptional digi cam in today's market. I fully recommend it. | |||

| Fast and competitive | |||
| Excellent photo quality, small and lightweight, and impressive features for the price it is offered at. | |||
| Though it is small and light it is not very well designed. The hand grip can become undomfortable in big hands like mine. | |||
| But all in all, the Canon EOS 350 D is a fine camera with quality and peformance par excellence. For a reasonably priced camera such as the Canon 350 D it offers the same features as a semi pro model. I am very satisfied with it. | |||

| This is called 'Digital Rebel XT' in the States, which is where I actually bought mine. There is no difference between the two models though.
I have a longstanding interest in photography - I used film SLR during the 80s, and got into digital with basic point-and-clicks in the 90s. This is my first digital SLR. |

| Outstanding | |||
| Great value for digital SLR, good quality pictures, easy to use, good for learning photography and taking professional pictures | |||
| Lots to learn - but that's always the case with a professional camera like this. Build quality can feel a little plasticky. Flash is very cold, with poor distance. | |||
| If you are looking to progress into digital photography from film SLR, this is an excellent choice. It looks and feels very similar, and is easy to use. Also, if you are upgrading from a 'point-and-click' digital, you will find this camera excellent - the picture quality is fantastic.
Some recommendations though - look for decent lenses. I have the Tamron 55-200 with 4.5 aperture. Look for something similar for general purpose work, and get something in the 28 - 50 range for closer work. Leave other lenses (such as telephoto, macro, wide angle, fisheye) until you know exactly what you want. Also, look for a decent flash - the one on the camera only has a short distance, and tends to produce very cold pictures. I use the Speedlight 420EX. Don't forget to get lots of compact flash (at least 1GB), and a decent tripod is never a mistake. Happy shooting :) |

| canon 350d | |||
| picture quality,size,easy to use | |||
| up to now none | |||
| After long periods of time reading reviews of the canon ,nikon and other digital SLR,s i took the plunge and opted for the Canon 350D.
Some reviews made many bad comments about the camera size and handling,for me i cant fault the 350D ,pictures are stunning and the camera is very user friendly,as for the size ,well for me it is perfect and i really cant understand the other reviews .I bought the 350D body and a Tamron 18-200MM aspherical lens,what a combination,fantastic image quality and i only need one lens. Personally i would highly recommend this product. |
