| The first version of the system would use only DVD made by SONY
The machine was returned as no other formats would work. After a number of tests with SONY we were able to record on other DVD +RW and -RW. There is now a patch to cottect this problem. Cannot EDIT Screens from recordings (Like the Philips) System slow on formating disks When VPS is active, you cannot use the recorder with out disactive the VPS setting. Instructions do not explain well. |

| Ideal machine for the basic person who just wants to make simple recordings. Easy touch button for recoreding and playback. Quaility of picture is excellent and sound. The function DV editior allows you to copy directly to CD using the editor on screen controls from the DVD remote control. On-screen menus are not hard to understand, but you need to play with the machine first !
