| Title of review |
Panasonic SDR-40H |
| What are the strengths? |
This camcorder is made down to a price, but it has a 40 Gig hard drive, stabilisation, is is small, light & easy to handle.
It has a few aids to assist recording. |
| What are the weaknesses? |
The not so good: poor software, you need 3 cables (supplied) to get the video onto the computer. No viewfinder, only average quality video recording. The battery supplied only lasts for about 1 hour. The 7 hour battery from Panasonic £108. I have tried contacting Panasonic about this camera, via email, they have not replied. |
| Summary |
If you only require average video footage, then go ahead & buy, but I would strongly suggest that you also have a look at the high definition camcorders, yes they cost more, but if you want good quality then you will have to pay for it. I would have second thought about buying the same product again. |
