What are the strengths? The Canon XL-H1 has many professional level features and unprecidented at this price point. It is a great camera for those who want to do professional work.
What are the weaknesses? Very specific abilities make it cost what it does; only purchase if you know what these abilities have to offer and you know you will use them, otherwise there are other more affordable options.
Summary An amazing camera for professional work, but there r cheaper options.

What are the strengths? This camera has great image quality. It allows you to fix variables like contrast, exposure etc to an enhanced level. An assortment of lenses are available for this cam.
What are the weaknesses? The price ... nothing else.
Summary This one is a great buy. no matter what you shoot the end result will be amazing.

What are the strengths? This camera has very high resolution, good and extensive image controls. The great part about this camera is that it allows you to interchange lenses. The camera is compatible with the Canon XL system of lenses and accessories and offers a wide range..
What are the weaknesses? The camera is pricier than the competition. It doesnt have any true progressive shooting.
Summary Canon's XL H1 video camera is a winner. its price wirthstanding if you wish to shoot for event, reality, ENG, and documentaries this is the Camera for you.
