Are they more expensive than some of the other places, YES, but their customer service cannot be beat. I was installing my components, and crushed one of my tweeters trying to get it into the mounting cup. I called Crutchfield, explained what I did, and asked how do I order a replacement tweeter (Fully expecting to pay for MY MISTAKE), they sent me out a brand new component kit, told me to use what I needed, and return the rest along with my damaged parts. Shipping both ways was paid by them. How can you ask for more than that? I will continue shopping with them and I feel the slightly higher price is well worth the peace of mind you get from their customer service, and their tech people. |

| Rating |  1 / 5 | | Comment | Bought a deck from them and while the shipping was fast and while the support hotline is nice, the deck was way overpriced compared to the competition. I saw the same deck a week later for $50 less at NewEgg. I almost bought a pair of speakers from Crutchfield and it turns out they're all more expensive than at Sonic Electronix or even eBay. Ridiculous. |

Had a defective CM 7777 and they responded within hours - have a replacement on its way and have arranged for UPS to themselves (even sent the UPS label on a .pdf file and I have a month to complete the return - unbelievable. I have never had service like this. I will be a return customer. |

You can call them, web chat or email them. They are glad to give advice or help with your purchase. Even after the sale they are available to help you. This is quite refreshing nowadays.
Usually though, Crutchfield's prices are fairly standard msrp. Its the price you pay for great customer service. This time though, my item was on sale and their price was the lowest around. Plus their shipping charges are excellent. Ground shipping was free, but next day was only $15. That is less than some retailers wanted for ground shipping!!
I ordered on Wednesday, received it on Thursday AND the price with next day shipping was less than anyone else with ground shipping.
Crutchfield is customer service. Its a place I am sure I will purchase from again. |

After several troubles on other servers with my non US credit card, I had no troubles at crutchfield page, their behaviour was professional (they verified shipping address, credit card bank). Camera I ordered (Lumix TZ3) delivered in perfect state, delivery time was short.. everything was perfect! I can really recommend this reseller ;-) |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | I have ordered many items from Crutchfield and have always been pleased with their customer service even after the sale. They ship their products double boxed and well packed so I am not afraid to order due to damage during shipment. Also, they tend to carry some of the most popular brands and even gotten into more high-end items lately which I REALLY like and hope they continue to expand. Returns are easy and come with a pre-paid UPS label on most items except large ones like LCDs, etc. which is understandable. They have never hassled me about making a return either, even if I just don't like it or it was a gift that someone else didn't care for.
I will continue to buy from them as long as their service remains top notch like they are. |

I ordered the item in the morning, by lunch they called to verify the order - no up selling what so ever, only verification - and then I was thanked and told my item would be delivered Thursday. Tuesday I came home, and the package was 2 days early! If Crutchfield has what I'm looking for and the price is competitive, they will always get my future online business! |

(and that's standard free shipping to 900 miles away) Phone personnel courteous, and knowledgeable and helpful even when I didn't buy anything (on a previous occasion). I got one that popped up on their "scratch & dent" page, got 15% off for a virtually invisible scratch, new merchandise, great buy on a model that is not discounted anywhere.
I highly recommend this store. |

I have been so pleased at how everything has gone I plan on using Crutchfield for all my electronic needs. Artie, who took my order was very helpful and even found a way to knock a couple of dollars off of the price. The set arrived in 5 days, well under the transit time that was quoted. The delivery men carried the tv in(up 3 flights), and set it up. The set is fabulous, everything was as promised, no dings, no broken glass, no dead pixels, perfect. I wanted what everyone wants, for an online company to deliver what I purchased in a timely fashion, and for the item to arrive without any issues or problems. That's exactly what I got...I highly recommend these guys. |

Unfortunately, the driver neglected to leave the associated paperwork, including a packet of cable labels, so I called Crutchfield. They promptly sent a replacement.
This was a thoroughly pleasing experience. Crutchfield's price was not quite the lowest, but their great customer service more than made up for it. |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | Very satisfied customer. Not only was their price on a sony bravia 40v3000 hdtv competitive, it came with a FREE wall mount kit of MY choice. However, the real reason i am writing this review is due to what happened after receipt of the tv. There were two very minor surface blemishes on the front of the television, shipped that way from sony from the factory. The tv operated perfectly; it was just these 2, very small, aesthetic imperfections. Not at all the fault of crutchfield. However, when i called crutchfield to verify that the tv was in fact factory sealed, and therefore the fault of sony, crutchfield nevertheless provided me with an immediate $225.00 credit due to the imperfections. I truly appreciate this level of customer service, in providing a cost adjustment to a customer where the fault was not even theirs. Crutchfield is a very reputable company that does what it takes to make an order right. I will use them again in the future. |

With their online coupon, ebillme discount and $20 HD redio rebate, I got a $150 radio for $95, with all the install hardware. The first mount bracket arrived broken - I had a new one within 2 days, no charge or return. Then, the radio didn't work. They shipped a replacement immediatley without requiring me to return the original first, and paid return shipping. Tech support came in handy, and was helpful everytime I called (my first car radio install). What can I say? Sometimes they're pricey (not this time - cheapest I could find this unit anywhere), but they go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. The only real problem I had was that the trim ring that came with the install bracket would NOT fit around the faceplate of the radio, and took a LOT of dremel work to get it in. Even then, they shipped me a second aftermarket trim ring to try (It was no better) free of charge. A very good company to deal with. This was my third purchase from them, and all three were satisfying. |

| Rating |  5 / 5 | | Comment | I have been ordering from Crutchfield for years now, and can say that I have not once been unpleased with their service.
They can mess up just like any other company, but will make every effort to fix it quickly and at no cost to you. If they leave something out, all you have to do is call and you can bet that whatever you need will be on its way on the same or next day.
I ordered a JVC receiver and ended up not liking it. They took it back, no questions asked after 20 days. They even paid for the shipping back.
I have also called them a few times for advice on installations, and had to hardly wait any time to be serviced. They are very helpful when you call them for anything.
Website is also very well laid out and helpful.
I have found that their e-mail support is somewhat hit and miss, and their prices aren't much under MSRP, but for the amount of support and flexiblity, it is worth the premium. |
