Thus, I asked for $10 credit to my account and I received the following reply: Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the inconvenience but due to the fast pace of the consumer electronics industry, and our determination to provide our customers with our best possible pricing and up-to-the-minute savings, all prices are subject to change without notice. Therefore we do not offer price protection nor price guarantee. However as a one time courtesy we will go ahead and process a refund of $5 back to your account. Rating   5 / 5 Comment Bought a Garmin Streetpilot C550 for the lowest price around at buydig.com. Shipped same day and I had in my hands two days later !!! They are the bomb. This is the second item I bought from them, previous was a Toshiba Regza LCD TV and that too was shipped promptly and communication was excellent. I only buy extended warranties on digital cameras and video cameras because of the nature of their use, vacations at the beach, packed up in the car, etc. , etc. Anyway, I have had relatives and friends (through my suggestion) who have purchased through buydig.com and they have had wonderful experiences as well. Edit- These guys are THE BEST. Here's the scoop ... this review was of my first shipped Garmin. It came with a defective battery that would not hold a charge. I got a prompt answered phone at buydig.com AND a prompt RMA#. The lady nicely stated that it would be better to purchase another Garmin C550 than to wait for an exchange because I was going on a trip this weekend. They SHIPPED the new one on SUNDAY, and arrived on TUESDAY. My defective unti got to them on a Wednesday and I was issued a refund the next day back to Paypal!!!! This company does nNOT give you the run-around !!! Don't listen to people who are EXTREMELY demanding, you know the type ... read some of the reviews. In conclusion, Garmin #1 bought on Thursday, received on Saturday. Garmin #2 bought on Sunday and received on Tuesday. Wow !!! A+

If I send them a mail, they dont respond. If I call the customer service (which basically takes 15 mins to connect), they transfer me to Investigation department which always goes to voice mail..They suck big time.. Update on July 16th:: I got a call from Buydig.com. They apologized for the delay and promised to refund my money immidiately. They also offered to send free SD card.

I placed an order of 3 4gb Sandisk extreme III SDHC cards on 5/31/2008 for my new camera and a trip between 6/23-6/28 and received the shipment on 6/4/2008. It seems perfect except for the wrong cards packed in the shipping box: 3 8gb Sandisk cards. This Buydig mistake disqualified the rebate that comes with the order. So I contacted Buydig on 6/5/2008 for exchange and was told that a Fedex label will be emailed to me within 1 day. However, 4 days after the first phone call and two subsequent calls, I finally got the fedex label. I shipped the item back to buydig on 6/10/2008 and delivered on 6/17/2008. According to Buydig's policy, the exchange item was supposed to be processed within 4 business days after the wrong or defect item is received by Buydig. My order should have been shipped out from buydig around 6/23-6/24. I did not see anything after return and contaced buydig again. I was told that the exchange order will be processed right away but saw nothing next day. I called again and was told that the exchange order will be processed in a couple of days. I asked the rep how many days exactly. The rep said: not sure. After 2 phone calls and one email, buydig finally started processing my exchange order on 6/22 and shipped out it through regular USPS parcel post mail on 6/26 although I was promised a fast shipping for exchange in the beginning. I received the shipment on 6/28/2008. As you can see, it took almost a month to get the exchange order from Buydig no matter whether this is the Buydig's mistake. Nothing promised on Buydig website or by its customer service was true in my case. It is worth mentioning that I did not get a single word of SORRY OR APOLOGY from Buydig customer service during my five phone calls and one email. In the end, I could not use the cards for my trip. Buyers, think again and again when you shop on Buydig.com. By the way, if you are not satisfied with Buydig, please do everybody a favor, filling a complaint with BBB, because Buydig.com is enrolled in the BBB Reliability Program and does not deserve it. People like me can be fooled by the icon. Accumulation of complaints will kick them out from the Program.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment After many many agonizing weeks of researching plasma TVs, I spend just as long researching online retailers to purchase my TV from. I've purchased smaller items such as camera and camera accessories from Buydig previously, but I will wanted to reaffirm their legitimacy given the price and size of the TV. I ordered my Panasonic TH-50PZ85U from Buydig on a Friday, received an immediate confirmation email upon ordering, and later that day received another email asking me to confirm my purchase just as a precaution. That Sunday, I receive an email alerting me that my shipment has been sent my a specialized courier. I would receive my television the Tuesday after, meaning I would receive my order 11 days after placing my order which was astounding. I was given a choice between two 4-hr delivery windows (8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm). The courier service was very professional and delivered just after noon. Given the ease of ordering, the VERY competitive price (cheaper than all but one online store, plus free delivery), speed of delivery, and the precautions they took (e.g. shock indicator on the box to ensure proper handling), not only would I order from them again, but I would definitely recommend them to friends.

After speaking with both BuyDig and Mack it was confirmed that I did receive a warranty card in the mail, albeit it may have been misplaced. That being said, it apparently is extremely hard to have warranty service unless you have this number. I have no problem re-tracting my statement and humbly do so, however I believe that lessons should be learned on both sides and have this warranty # available in the customer's invoice profile. That way, misunderstandings like this will not occur and satisfaction is guaranteed on both sides. Thanks to those who assisted me through this process. I purchased a 56" Toshiba TV from Buy Dig and had an issue with the TV within the first 2 months. I received great response from Toshiba and they immediately sent a new bulb for my TV. I purchased a 3 year extended in home service warranty ($400) from Buy Dig. I recently had problems with the TV and when I went to Buy Dig to get a person out, they bounced me between their 3rd party maintenance company MACK and themselves. I have the invoice showing the purchase of the extended warranty however they stated that they cannot do anything unless I have a "warranty #" which is crap. I now have to go the a legal process and I would highly recommend that anyone looking for gear not to use this company. There are many quality internet companies out there and this is not one of them. The upfront savings will not pay for the back end pain. DON'T USE BUY DIG. COM!!!!!!!!!

Called first CS rep and she didn't want me to help me and wanted me to pay shipping out of my pocket to send back on their mistake. She was awful. So I called for another CS rep the next day and second rep was helpful and got me a prepaid. Took them over a week to send out my correct items after they received the items back. So total time it took me to get my items is about a month. Oh, ya. They don't always reply to your e-mail to them also.

Rating   1 / 5 Comment My first order did not go very well at all. Decided to return the item for an exchange. Was prompted to reject delivery from FedEx and place a new order. It's been 2 weeks and many emails sent since they received the 1st package from FedEx and still no refund. Really pissed at that. Their customer service hours is not that convenient either for those of us who live in the West. Shipping rate is a ripoff. Overnight shipping cost around $100 while amazon only charges $15 for the same shipping. Don't fall for their $7 "faster shipping" as according to my experience it's the same one as their free shipping. On a positive note the second order did come in a good condition.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment I Placed an order for the Logitech Harmony 1000 universal remote through Buydig on 6/17/08. Buydig had the best price of $249.95, no tax, with free budget shipping. All other places I found required rebates with purchase of a TV and/or the addition of tax and shipping charges putting the price at around $270+. Luckily for me, I'm in NYC and Buydig is in NJ so even budget Fedex took only two days. I had the remote in hand by the 19th and all was good. The product package was pristine (no traces of being previously opened). I also purchased a digitial camera back in 2002 from Buydig but never wrote a review. That purchase also went smoothly with no issues. I will have no problems purchasing from Buydig again.

I ORDERED AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS IN STOCK PLUS SALES REP TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE IT BY WEDNESDAY (5 DAYS) I RECIEVED EMAIL MONDAY THAT IT WAS OUT OF STOCK (YET WEBSITE STILL SAYS IN STOCK) THEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND THE SALES REP SAID WAIT A SECOND THEY JUST CAME IN -- THAT WAS 2 DAYS AGO. Rating   1 / 5 Comment I give this merchant 1 star, and that only because I bought a camera from them years ago and that worked out okay. My recent experience was quite the opposite. I ordered a Toshiba LCD/DVD unit and the web page stated that the item was in stock and that it would ship within 24-48 hours. A week later I still hadn't received a shipment confirmation, so I checked my order status at their website. The order status still said "in process" and availability was now listed as "NO". So obviously the item was not in stock when I ordered it. I had to wait on hold for 15 minutes before I could cancel the order.

I immediately received an email confirmation and expected a shipping confirmation within a few days. I waited for a few days not hearing from the company. After four days I called customer service and was told the TV should be going out the next day. Again there was no email the next day and I could not call due to limited customer service hours. In a later call, a representative said to call again in a few days because the item was not in stock. Just a few hours later I received an email saying the order was cancelled (this was a full 8 days after placing the order). Now I am waiting for the charge to be removed from my credit card.

I also added a 4 gig memory card that was very reasonably priced but also had a $30 mail in rebate. I am extremely happy with the way my order was handled. Rating   1 / 5 Comment Whenever I have purchase camera equipment in the past I have stuck to what I know and what has worked well for me: B&H This time, I decided to try something different - mainly because of a significant difference in price. Navigating the web site was easy enough - as was placing the order. However, once the order was submitted, I did not receive a confirmation email. I checked my buydg account online and found no information regarding an order there, either. I decided to contact buydig to ensure that my order had been properly received and processed. After being on hold for ten minutes, the representative asked me for my order number and then transferred me to a different department. The recording loop during hold made it clear that I was now dealing with beachcamera and no longer with buydig. After five minutes, my call was answered and I confirmed my order with the representative. I was told that it would be taken care of and processed right away. After checking my account later on and discovering that there was still no record of an order, I received two emails to inform me that I needed to call in order to confirm and verify my order - which I had just done earlier that day! I wrote a brief email to customer service asking them whether the order had been processed or not since I had already called to confirm. An answer was received within 24 hours informing me that I needed to call the billing department to confirm my order. So I called again and was on hold for only about five minutes. The representative told me this time that he needed a copy (front and back) of my Credit Card and a copy of my Driver's License. I'm thinking - what for? At any rate, I asked what would happen if I failed to send these items and was told the order would automatically be void. And that is exactly what I will do! As an aside: I ordered different camera equipment from B&H yesterday - and received notification that it had shipped today. No calls, no putting on hold, no copying and faxing my CC and ID. This, for me, has all the makings of a bad online retailer and I will certainly stay away in the future. I'd rather spend a few bucks more and avoid all this hassle.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment After noticing a negative opinion for BUYDIG, I have to share my experience with buying a camera and a 42 inch Plasma TV from them. The camera came quickly and in perfect condition at a great price. I knew that I was taking a chance buying the Panasonic Plasma because I live in California. I was told that due to Plasma screens being relatively delicate, that they use a special shipping company for items like that. The Plasma screen arrived quickly, delivered into my house. A JAR meter indicated a smooth transit and the box had no damage. The TV was inspected and found perfect. And I saved about $800 including shipping over buying local. I will buy from them again without hesitation.

I called up buydig, and got hold of somebody after a rather long wait. They said all I have to do is take care of the issue with my bank and call them back so that they can try to charge it again on my card. I did that first thing today morning, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a mail from buydig saying that my order has shipped. I paid for expedited shipping, so I'm waiting to see if it arrives in time. Quite satisfied with the way they handled this order. Will definitely order from them again. (Fingers crossed that my current order will arrive on time!)

The free shipping is great: 2-3 day delivery, no cost! Items are carefully packaged and in perfect working order. I have never dealt with customer service because I have never had a problem with any order or item. I would highly recommend this retailer.

Buydig.com had the lowest price compared to other online stores as well as received very good reviews from previous customers on delivery and customer service. Initially, I had an issue with my credit card (the bank rejected the online purchase for security reasons) which prevent Buydig.com from shipping my new TV immediately. Obviously, this was not Buydig.com's fault. Once I fixed the issue with bank, I contact Buydig.com to confirm the unit was still available and they told me my TV would be shipped by the end of the week. On the day the order was suppose to be shipped, I received an email saying the TV was back ordered and the shipment was being delayed. I immediately called customer service about my displeasure with the situation since the TV was available when I first placed the order (as well as confirmed earlier in the week). Very quickly, the customer representative, with the approval of her manager, upgrade my TV from the LN46A550 to the LN46A650 (a $400 difference) for free and shipped out the same day. My customer service rep, Nancy, was pleasant and worked very quickly to resolve the issue. I received nothing but outstanding customer service with Buydig.com and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase electronic equipment online. I will not hesitate to purchase from Buydig.co in the future.

Do NOT pay the $4.95 for 3/4 business day shipping as Fedex assured me that the delivery times between Buydig's "free" shipping and Buydig's $4.95 rate, IS THE SAME!:FIVE(5) business days. Imagine how many suckers @ 4.95 these shipping crooks have conned! Buydig even has the gall to write "recommended" next to the alleged 3/4 business day @ 4.95 So Buydig has low prices? Yea so what? With an extra, unearned 4.95 per order, I'll never ever go near this seller again.

When we contacted the company for an RA number to return it they refused, even though it was in one month of purchase. When I asked for an exchange they also refused. They are a rip off company and we are now stuck with a $400 product that doesn't work.

Just be aware that they REQUIRE a signature on all items and your order CANNOT be rerouted once it's placed. They inform you of that in their confirmation email and they really mean it. Customer service was efficient and I didn't spend a lot of time on hold but they certainly stick by their shipping policy. So be there for signature or be prepared to drive to the FedEx facility.

No phone call to upsell me things I don't need, just a call from the trucking company to confirm delivery the next day. When I called them to ask a few questions before I ordered the tv they were well informed and very polite. BuyDig had the best price and terrific customer service. I will buy there again.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment This was my first order from BuyDig.com. I ordered the Sigma 70-200 2.8 II. BuyDig's price was $50 less than any place I had checked for this new lens. I ordered this lens on a Saturday evening and the item was shipped on Monday and was received on Thursday with free shipping. The website was easy to navigate and I didn't receive any phone calls to 'confirm' my order with them. I received the confirmation e-mail when I placed the order and also another e-mail when the lens shipped with my tracking number. The lens was the USA version and came with all the accessories described via Sigma's website. This was my first order from BuyDig, but it will NOT be my last! With all the scam companies on the internet, it's good to find a real company to do business with.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment Ordered an Epson Stylus 1400 (ordered on Friday 1am, got it Saturday 1:30 pm, even with 6 day shipping!!)), turned out to be defective. Emailed them over the weekend, they responded with RA# on Monday, I shipped it back to them the same day (thank you Nancy!). When everything was said and done I received a new one Thursday! Everything was done through email, responded very quickly, very nicely. If you live in NYC, the shipment is extremely fast, I've been a customer since 2004 and even with the slowest shipment method, the latest I've ever received my shipments is within 2 days!! And their prices are low too! But please read the fine print on return policies and return shipping carefully, I think it has changed since the last time I ordered (2 years) before this one and I was a little surprised with the new policy. Over all fast shipments, low prices, and responsive customer service. Everything a retailer should be.

About the only downside, which has nothing to do with buydig, is waiting for it to arrive. I guess one could feel guilty about not buying locally (i.e., not paying state/local tax, additional fuel used to ship the product). Then again, the jerks who work at the local BBY and CC make it less painful. So, unless you really need to be green, I highly recommend BUYDIG!!!

In both instances, they were shipped promptly and arrived three business days after they were shipped from New Jersey (I'm in Texas). Everything was as advertised -- factory new products, full USA warranty, etc. There were no attempts to upsell or any requirement that I call to "confirm" my order. (If any seller tries to pull that stuff with you, you're probably dealing with scam artists.) In addition to having great service, Buydig.com usually has the best prices available from any reputable dealer. This is a dealer you can trust!

Rating   5 / 5 Comment I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS after consulting resellerratings.com and cancelling an order with 86th Street Photo (.03 lifetime rating...thank you resellerratings.com). Buydig had a 8.45 lifetime rating and was only $30 more than 86th Street (really only $15 after factoring in free shipping vs $15 for 86th St). Even though the unit was only promised 8-10 days ground shipping, it arrived in about 5 days from placing my order (ordered Monday, received unit on Friday), safe and complete. Top marks for Buydig. I would definitely use them again.

Rating   1 / 5 Comment I attempted to buy a product using a prepaid Visa card which was a rebate from an earlier purchase from this seller. They refused to honor the activated card claiming that it wasn't part of their system. The supervisor of the department was abrupt and rude in insisting that they will not honor the card. There was no satisfactory resolution. I have bought many previous items from this vendor amounting to several thousand dollars. This is the first time I've needed to contact them. I will consider other sources in the future and will recommend other vendors to my photographer friends.

Rating   5 / 5 Comment At first, I highly doubted this store because the price for a lens I purchased was the lowest I've seen so far. I read some of the reviews and thought ok, let me try them. Ordered on a sunday, shipped out Monday. Ground shipping from NJ to Washington state took about 5 days minus the weekends. I got my product the next wednesday. I'm very very impressed with their product. I would highly recommend them to EVERYONE. Just for northwest folks, it will take a while. Shipping was cheap $5.95 for me but I still got my product and it was a good experience with BuyDig.com. I was expecting troubles such as packaging, product (opened), etc. but none of these things happened and I am one happy customer. Buydig.com - a BUY from my book!

Rating   5 / 5 Comment Prior to this most recent purchase, I had dealt with BuyDig.com twice. The first encounter was perfect. Quick ordering, quick shipping, and great product quality. The second encounter was fruitless. The item I ordered was listed as "In Stock," and I wasn't informed until a week after placing the order that it was back-ordered--and even then, I had to contact BuyDig to get that information. Eventually I simply cancelled that order and shopped elsewhere. For this third order, the price was right and I was hoping to get the service they had provided the first time around. They didn't disappoint. Within two days I had a brand new $900 lens sitting on my doorstep, in pristine condition. I'm extremely satisfied and will continue to shop with BuyDig in the future.
