CommentUnbelievable customer service!! I had an extended warranty issue, and when I called One Call to get some assistance, even though the warranty was with an outside vendor, they agreed to get involved right away since I had purchased the TV through One Call. Chad with One Call not only helped me get connected with the vendor, but also helped us find a reputable service company in our area and followed up to make sure everything was being handled to our satisfaction. They have won a customer for life.

CommentThis store is the best. I ordered a Sony HRD-HC9 at their web site during a week-end sale, with free 3-day FedX shipping. I also signed up for their no-interest for 12 months credit card. Their web site is very professional and includes a 'what's in the box' section that tells you exactly what you will receive. After placing my order I received a professional-lookin email that confirmed my order and credit card application. I gave me a ship date of the next Monday, and a delivery date of next Thursday. I did receive a call from a salesperson. He did not try to sell me anythin. He needed to confirm that I wanted the 0-interest credit card. I received the camcorder the following Wednesday, one day early. When I opened the box, the camcorder was in a sealed Sony box. The box contained everything that was listed on the web site. I chrged the battery, went through the set-up and in about an hour, I was taking HD movies. Everything worked. My only surprise was that information on the internet states that you need a mini HDMI cable to connect a Sony HDR-HC9 to you HDTV. This is not true. A regular HDMI cable is needed as their is no mini HDMI connector slot on the camera; it has a regular HDMI connector slot. I highly recommned OneCall as a vendor.

CommentWonderful store! I found what I wanted, ordered, and received my TV within 4 days. They were helpful when I asked email questions (I'm a dunce about this stuff) and delivered exactly what was promised. Oh, and best price around...I've already told friends and family and will tell more and more. Thank you!

CommentSeveral months selecting specific HDTV-chose Sony KDL 46V4100, Then a lot of comparison on-line price checks-from $2799.00 to $1579.99. I liked OneCall for absolute info,amature to geek-specs. I even read set-up and product manual on-line. Saw their wk end special price. Made decision and called 'OneCall' the following Tues. 24 June, talked to Chad who knew his product so could answer all my questions, plus gave me the wk-end special, which saved enough to select the wall-mount.With all cables and free delivery I was pleased![Total was almost $900 less than highest list price elsewhere, even local chain electronics retail outlets]. 24 hrs later I rcv'd call my HDTV had arrived and was ready for delivery tomorrow PM [26 June]. I am so pleased. I will update after delivery and set-up.

CommentI got a very good deal on a digital camera that was on sale, they beat all the other online stores as far as price but unfortunately I got a defective unit. I was afraid I would get the run around because I did not want a replacement camera and wanted a refund instead, the reason being that I was due to go on an out of state vacation and did not have time for them to ship me another camera in time for my trip. To my delight I found their customer service to be absolutely fantastic, they were very pleasant and understanding of my situation and assured me I would get a "no hassle" refund. So I got an RA number and shipped it back and had a full refund within two business days of their receipt of the defective camera, you can't beat service like that! They are great to do business with and I will definately buy from them again. I highly recomend! Thanks Onecall!

CommentOrdered a Nikon D300 body from OneCall. Not the lowest price online but after reading the reviews here I purchased with no worries.
Online chat is 7 days a week and the wait is short. Everyone I came in contact with at OneCall was great! No pressure to buy additional stuff I didn't need. Shipping was FAST and cheap! Only about $22 for overnight shipment! I strongly recommend OneCall for your next purchase.

CommentI recently placed an order on a Wednesday for an under-cabinet radio, requesting Friday delivery.
Several hours later, after 8:30 pm EDT, OneCall contacted me. I was told that due to a computer glitch, my order needed to be re-done.
The CSR asked if I needed the radio by Friday. I said that I had hoped to install it that weekend. The CSR offered one-day delivery at no extra charge.
When the radio arrived Friday, I was truly amazed by OneCall's customer service reliability and dependabiilty, despite the glitch.
The radio is up and running and looks great.

CommentI have been a customer of One Call for quite sometime and recently decided to make a purchase of 2 plasma TV's. I researched the web for awhile and decided to call up a representative to help answer some of my questions. Being that I had no idea what the difference was between a LCD and plasma, I was hoping the rep could shed some light. Luckily for me, I was connected to Chad G. With every question I posed, Chad was able to explain every detail from inside and out. He took his time clarifying all of my inquiries, and never at any point made me feel like "just another customer." His excellence in customer service is amazing, and I can't be more thankful for all of his help! I absolutely love the 50 and 42 inch Samsung TV's that I purchased...and it's all thanks to Chad!!!

Comment I'm very happy with OneCall.com i recently bought a digital SLR camera and it was defective right out of the box it had three stuck ccd pixels as soon as i noticed them i said to my self oh here we go, thinking OneCall being an internet company i would have to start pulling my hair out but when i called OneCall they were very professional got me a RA number and they asked me to send it back, as soon as they received it the new one was on its way i got it today and I'm very happy i would recommend them in a heart beat. One thing i did not like was that i had to pay for shipping to send the camera back for an exchange even though it was bad out of the box i did not think i should pay since it was not really my fault but other than that very happy.

CommentAfter a horrible experience with 123BuyDirect, I cancelled and called OneCall. The difference was like night and day. Michael gave me the confidence that my order would be handled professionally. The 52" Samsung LCD TV was shipped the same day and arrived 3 days later, in perfect condition. Michael gave me an option of a free wall-mount, TV stand or discount off an accessory kit. I will definitely use OneCall for my next purchase.

CommentI found the TV at Amazon.com, though it was OneCall selling through Amazon, and placed an order for it. I stopped by the TV's page on Amazon again a few hours later and discovered the price dropped a few hundred dollars in that short time. I decided to just cancel the original order and replace the order for it at the cheaper price but Amazon wouldn't let me cancel the original order. I went to the order's page and there was just no option to cancel it.

I went to OneCall.com and emailed them with my problem. They called me and canceled the order with Amazon, as per my permission, and allowed me to place an order with them directly (not Amazon at all) over the phone at the lower price and threw in a $100 wall mount too.

The TV is great so far. Dealing with support was good and thorough. They called a few days after it was delivered to see if everything was OK.

It was shipped with ABF Freight System and came on time and in good condition and the driver was good.

CommentI want to compliment Stephanie who took my order for a plasma TV. She was efficient, kind, patient, professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. She was not rushed nor assertive to the extent that you felt like she was trying to upsell you unnecessarily but rather she was looking out for your best interest. In a world where customer service means you need to understand a foreign English dialect it is nice to know that US companies still want to use on shore telemarketing and customer support services. Stephanie says the owner reads these reviews daily so if you are the owner and reading this then you should reward Stephanie for being a gold medal employee because she is incredible at her job.

CommentAll I can say is WOW.So fast i called them made an order without being sold a product I actually bought it. No pushy sales tactics. I received the my full order in 2 days with normal shipping which by the way was free.I even received one of the items which was stated might be on back order. Absolutely the best etailer experience I could of hoped for.Also when I called customer service they answered instantly gave me an intelligent answer to all my ? and even reduced the price of a couple of items that i found for slightly cheaper. they are also factory authorized to sell the brand I bought "no GREY MARKET". Be wary especially of east coast stores they will try to rip you. Thanks one call you guys rock... Shawn P.S. There warranty was cheaper than anywhere else I could find as well as if I never use it when it expires they refund 1/2 of it towards another purchase. WOW friggen amazing

CommentI ordered my 46" television from onecall.com on 13-Apr. On 16-Apr I got a call from one of their customer care reps going over my order, giving me the details of the shipping, answering any questions I might have had, etc. They could have provided this info in email only, but they sent it via email AND gave me a courtesy call.

Everything happened exactly as they said it would--from calls to emails to shipping; no surprises. The shipping was no-frills (curb-side dropoff), but the truck was right on time, I watched the driver cut it free from the pallet, and the box was equipped with "Shock Watch" shock detection, which indicated smooth transit.

I'm completely happy with my purchase and with onecall.com.

CommentI am revising my original review:
This was my first order from OneCall. I went with them because their price was equal to the best i had seen for the product, but primarily because they were shown as a vendor through Amazon. I generally prefer to go through Amazon, but on this occasion, the shipping options on the Amazon page were limited. The options on the OneCall page were more appropriate for me, as i was hoping for receipt of the product more quickly.

All was fine at the ordering stage. I received the item (a lens) on time. Notifications by email were standard.

When i needed to return this item, though, i found the policies stated on the OneCall page were a bit ambiguous. There is a 15% restocking fee if you need to return a product that is not defective. But, that information is only shown in the area that refers to defective products. As my item was not defined to be defective, i had no reason to read that section. Anyway, that was the 'discussion' between me and a customer service rep. I left that conversation dissatisfied and disturbed. But, there was a followup call, the next day, from a customer service supervisor, and my objections were addressed and the situation was resolved amicably. I appreciate that attention to service and detail, and so my review is herewith modified.

I guess it's now back to 'square one' with OneCall. No grudges, no hard feelings. I will consider them as a vendor in the future, but with caveats. I will still prefer to deal with vendors with more 'liberal' return policies.

CommentWanted to order 2 umbrellas for flashes, the website said "in stock". I called them on the phone just to be make sure that they do have them. The salesman told me that they were and would be shipped out the same day. Placed the order over the phone and later found out through the online tracking that the order is in "backorder" status. Called their customer service and was told that do not be alarmed about the backorder status since they are being shipped from a retail store and assured me that the order will be shipped out the same day. Later during that night, the status was changed to "in processing". But the following day changed back to "backorder" again. Called their customer service again, another person told me that they are in backordered and it would take a week to receive them. I told him that I was given a conflicting information the day before. He took down my # and said would find out from the salesman & call me back but never did. I was forced to pay overnight shipping through ordering from another company just so that I can receive them by the end of the work week. I would never trust these people again on what they have or don't have in stock.

CommentI ordered a Nikon D300 and Lexar CF card from Onecall.com. Their price on the Nikon was $125 less than other well known sites. I actually placed the order over the phone to preclude any delays. This was because of the amount of money I was spending, to ensure the item was in stock and due to the fact that I was requesting overnight delivery. Before placing the call I researched the company through the Better Business Bureau and using sites like this one. Chris at Onecall.com took my order and assured me of their long business history. Onecall.com is the mail order company for HUPPINS PHOTO & VIDEO of Spokane, WA which has been in business since most people have been alive. I also checked their BBB ratings. Needless to say, my order arrived overnight for less than $20 shipping. I will be looking to this company again in the future.

CommentI have made several purchases from Onecall.com. I have always been pleased with the prices and quality. But this last purchase has been a nightmare! I got a Samsung DLP TV for a great price that included shipping. It came on a Monday afternoon. They give you 3 days to check unit. Box was fine but the TV was too big for me alone so I had to get a friend to help me on Thursday to set it up. Once we got it up and turned on, there were stains on the screen. They looked terrible. So I tried to wipe them off but they seemed to be on the inside. I called onecall.com and got a manager and he was very smug and unhelpful.He told me I should have called by Wed night. And there was nothing he could do. I should contact Samsung. I have purchased some high end items with onecall and felt slighted by his attitude. Well needless to say it is now 5 weeks later Samsung's repair shop still has the TV, I got 1 day usage from a 1200.00 TV. I have been soured on onecall's position on this. I guess you do not know a company until you need customer service. Only buy from them if you are 100% you will not have a problem with the item. If not I would avoid buying anything from them until they try and be more helpful to loyal customers.
UPDATE- The issue was never resolved with Onecall. No call from customer service to see if all was well with my second 1400+ purchase from them. Seems they could care less. I will say that Samsung made everything right with me. I strongly suggest passing on anything from Onecall. Try Amazon or EBAY.

CommentBy far the best thing about this store is the 12 mo. interest free financing for 399$+ purchases. I wish other retailers would also have such an option. Prices are very comparable to other reputable stores like B&H and Newegg. I have shopped about 4 times on this store over 4 years and have had a pleasant experience each time.

Onecall had the cheapest price among reputable companies with the item in stock, and I received the produce, well packaged, even sooner than anticipated. I recommend Onecall without hesitation.

Comment This is my second purchase from this merchant.I'm very pleased to report that Onecall provided excellent service each time. The customer service person I spoke with was knowledgeable and courteous with no pressure to purchase additional merchandise. The item was shipped the same day it was ordered and was delivered the following day, even though the shipping stated 4 to 6 days. The purchase price is always a major factor when selecting where to spend hard earned dollars.Onecall had the item priced lower than other online retailers. Price and service, a winning combination in my book.

CommentI made my first huge online purchase from OneCall on a Samsung 6187s Slim LED DLP HDTV. The order process was simple, and there was a small issue with the set going on backorder after I made the purchase. That pushed back delivery a few days, but the reps on the phone were very polite and sympathetic and explained how they are a warehouse and sometimes items sell out before the order is processed. No big deal - it was only a few days, not weeks or months.

They also walked me through the whole process on the phone, like what to look for on the package (shock guards, dents, etc...) and what to write on the delivery form. Then they emailed me this info so I had a checklist to go over when it arrived.

The set was delivered problem free and everything went smoothly. A few days later the price on this set, selling on Amazon.com, dropped $150 below the OneCall price. I called up OneCall and they refunded me the difference without hesitation. Just try and get a big chain to price match amazon.com, good luck! I highly recommend OneCall - great prices, friendly service, and an overall top notch experience.

The canon ef 50mm f1.4 lens I ordered was shipped the same day.

I also I got a phone call from a customer service representative today asking me whether I received the order safely. It was a surprise and was very impressive.

CommentThis was my first major purchase from an on-line retailer. Before I chose OneCall, I did a little on-line research, using ResellerRatings and The Better Business Bureau on-line. I did not feel comfortable purchasing my 1080P 50" Panasonic Plasma from one of many East Coast on-line retailers, due to their poor reputation/history, even thought they were a few hundred lower in price. OneCall's reputation looked good, and I got the USA One Year Product Warranty included in the price. After placing my order, I was called by OneCall, and informed about the firm's shipping/receiving/return policy. I was not asked to purchase anything else; extended warranty, HDMI cables, delivery insurance, etc. I was notified by e-mail, of the shipping status, and I was also able to tract it's shipment myself, through the deliver company. When I finaly got my Plasma, it was on it's own individual pallet, and it had no visible shipping damage, even though it came from West Virginia. After opening the container and connecting the Plasma to a Satelite HD Recorder, I was total amazed at the picture quality. I was a very happy camper! We have now hung it on the wall over our fireplace (it's HEAVY!). It's AWSOME! I am so glad that this first MAJOR purchase with OneCall, went so well. Thank you OneCall. I have already recommended you to a friend.

CommentI ordered 2 Sony LCD TVs from Onecall and I couldn't be happier. They are a top-notch retailer. Everything about the process from ordering to shipping to finance terms was superb. They even take the time to call you after you received the product to make sure you are happy. I did have a few issues with getting the financing terms straight but this was handled with professionalism. I highly recommend Onecall.

CommentI placed my order for a very nice power conditioner at a great price, and used Paypal (since I prefer the security of using it). When I called yesterday to check on the status of my order, I was told that since I had used Paypal, there was a chance that they might run out of stock before it was processed. I was told that I should pay with a credit card to avoid this. This obviously upset me, since nowhere on their site does it state that orders are not reserved when using Paypal. Since I wasn't happy to find this out, I went ahead and cancelled my order. I then saw today that the money had been taken from my bank account, and it may take 3 or 4 days for it to be refunded. If they had just clearly stated their Paypal policy on their site, this could have been avoided. As it stands now, I am left with a less than positive impression about OneCall, and am without my $248 for several days. Oh well, live and learn I suppose...

CommentI went shopping for an SB800 flash yesterday. After nearly being ripped off by another company, I contacted One Call. They were very knowledgeable and willing to help, and even referred me to a website where I could see ratings and comments about the company that tried to take me for a ride. Dealing with One Call was a pleasant experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

CommentLater in the day after I placed my order for a Panasonic FZ50, the order went "on hold" with a note to call. My business mailing address was not on file with my credit card company. Called the credit card company to add the work address, checked my order, it was in process... but a few hours later, it was back to "on hold, please call..." The address still wasn't being verified with my credit card company. The customer service rep flagged my order to go through anyway, my camera shipped out on Friday and I received it the following Tuesday. All in all, the price still can't be beat (they sold out soon after), item was well packaged, and no funny business other than the address problem. OneCall is the only company I have had this issue with (Amazon & NewEgg never questioned my mailing address).
