Commentthis is the most horrible online experience ever! i placed an order, it got lost somehow. they failed to give me any explanation and then when i called again, after 36 minutes on hold, they told me that it had reshipped - amazingly enough just this very day...i told them i would refuse shipment and they said they would charge me a restocking fee of 15% - for their mistakes! unacceptable customer service - don't shop here!!!!!

CommentI ordered a Bluestar cooktop May 12. They said 2-3 weeks delivery. It's already June and no cooktop. I call and they say the manufacturer has them on backorder for 4 weeks. I call the manufacturer and they say BS. I should be able to get it in a week. I call AJ Madison back and they ask to be able to locate one. THey tell me they found one and will ship it. That is June 5. I still don't have it, I get a busy signal when I call, and there is no resolution to this. I have countertop people coming to measure and I have no cooktop or downdraft vent for measurement. I am really considering suing them. This is ridiculous. After reading the other reviews, my guess is that they have cash problems it would not surprise me if they went out of business. They stink, their CS people stink, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They tried to sell me another product when they said the manufacturer had the cooktop backordered for 4 weeks. They are liars. Don't buy from them.

CommentCustomer service at AJ Madison is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I was put on hold forever, and each time the person I finally did reach was rude and unhelpful. They sold me a four year warranty on my appliances which the repair company will not honor, because AJ Madison registered them wrong. I spent almost $10,000 with this company and I've spent hours on the phone trying to get assistance to no avail. I would never buy from them again.

CommentOrdered a stainless steel double oven. Oven was delivered minus the stainless steel trim that was shown online. At first they said they would order it, so I said fine. When the trim came it was again black. Then they said the manufacturer discountinued the stainless trim and they are not responsible. The picture on their website continued to show the oven with a stainless trim until 5/2/08. I was told initially that they would take it back if it was not installed although I might have to pay a restocking charge. When I asked them how to send it back they than said I could not. They are sticking me with the oven even though they had the wrong picture on there website and are no not honoring their guarantee. The employees lied to me and did not return phone calls although promised. I always had to call them. This company is terrible, I would never buy anything from them again because if the product is wrong you are stuck with it.
