Transaction went very smoothly and item came sooner than expected and in perfect working condtion. When I contacted customer service they were very nice and informative. I was hesitant at first to order through an online store for such an expensive and large item but I ended up saving a few hundred dollars over buying this hdtv locally so in the end it was well worth it. |

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | Ordered a Sharp Aquos LC32D64U 1080p LCD TV on 6/16. Checked with customer service on 6/17 and was told it'd ship on 6/18. Checked online order status again next morning and found it was already shipped. Received in the morning on 6/19. So far, the service has been excellent.
The outer box of the TV had a hole covered by DHL ducktapes (could be an old box from a different RMA?) but the Sharp box inside was pristine and the TV was as new as possible. Hooked it to the Time Warner cable and the wow began ...
The TV was perfect, so didn't deal with returns, warranty etc, I'll update this review if there is a need to contact Customer Service again. |

On May 13, I received e-mail from Amazon saying "my order had been cancelled, sorry for the inconvenience". I then called Amazon, who looked up my order and said that 6th avenue was unable to fulfil my order and that 6th avenue was supposed to have sent an e-mail to that effect. I was pretty disappointed by the poor service and ordered through another vendor. |

Called in to obtain a fix talked with a customer service rep (who said he was a supervisor) stated that the new price was correct and I must be seeing it wrong. He changed the price of the product then told me to reload the page. This is just bad business if you advertised a price (that is reasonable) then honor it, we are talking about a $20 difference here. But no, chose to be an short and unhelpful. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS, GOOD PRICES MAYBE BUT THERE ARE MANY OTEHR MERCHANTS WITH BETTER SERVICE, SEE B&H. |

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | I ordered a 32" Toshiba LCD HDTV, model 32HL67. 6ave's prices were way below what the local stores were selling the unit for, so I read some reviews of the store and placed an order after reading positive things. I placed an order on the 27th of December and the item shipped on Jan. 4, 08. While the waiting time for the item was long, they double boxed the unit and ensured that everything was secure. The TV arrived unharmed and in pristine condition. I emailed customer service to ask them why the delay between ordering and shipping and they emailed me two weeks after the item was delivered. This was the only downside to my experience with 6ave. I would do business with them again though. |

| Rating | 1 / 5 | | Comment | They have good prices and good warranties for some electronics. I purchased a Panasonic PV-GS500 + warranty and the order went somewhat smooth. I placed it on 3/7, then I received an e-mail message on 3/8 asking me to verify my credit card. Are they stupid?? Why process credit cards on their web site if one has to fax and authorize the charge?
I just place another order yesterday for the same camera and I received an e-mail today that my order has been cancelled because the address couldn't be confirmed. When I told the rep that I already faxed authorization and everything, he said there was no record of that!
This company sucks. They make you go through hoops and loops and then cancel your order.
Stupid. Plain stupid! |

I have always been skeptical about making purchases of this type over the phone, but David was exceptional. He is completely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his industry.
I received excellent customer service without any worries, which was extremely important to me. He has provided me with the best possible sell prices for several components and I will be purchasing all of my future components from him.
The delivery of the components was amazing and the delivery workers were very polite. I was completely surprised and in awe that this was possible after reading all of the horror stories of other online purchases and returns with other companies.
I have highly recommended him to my friends, family and co-workers. I was extremely impressed and you will not be disappointed. |

I intially ordered an HF100 from them on the 16th-the day they offered the $175 off coupon. The site had said "in stock" when I ordered it. I waited til the next day for a tracking number but there was none. I called them to find out, and they tell me they made a mistake and "oversold them" and I'd have to wait a week. I got pissed and asked them if they'd give me a better deal on the hf10 since it was in stock and I'm going on vacation next week and couldn't wait for the hf100. They came through very well. I'm impressed with their willingness to please the customer. They even shipped it in one day! |

I emailed them and asked when my order could be shipped because I needed it for a trip coming soon. They immediately canceled my order with the excuse that my shipping address was not PayPal confirmed. The point is, if they do not accept unconfirmed PayPal address, why don't they configure their PayPal account to reject unconfirmed shipping address automatically? It's a waste of customers' time to have to place another order again. In my case, time is of essence. I will never buy from this seller again. |

When I ordered my tv it said 1-3 days to ship. After a day it changed to 7-10. Instead of keeping the first shipping times, it took them 7 days to ship and 2 more days to get to my house. |

I had already purchased one online somewhere else, a few hours earlier, when I found that they were running a great special. I decided to give them a try and it turned out to save me $120!! They responded to a question very quickly and provided detailed shipping and tracking information. The camera actually arrived a day early. I just wish they sold some of the extra stuff I now need to buy. |

I ordered An Onkyo Home theatre system which at $368 inc shipping was $50 less than any competitor. The order date was 1st March 2008, I received an email on Mon 3rd March to say it was shipped and sure enough the tracking number provided showed up on DHL's website. Anyway the system arrived mid morning today on 5th March, which was way quicker than the estimated 5 days for ground shipping. Everything is great, brand new unopened system, so all I can say is 10 out of 10 for a hastle free speedy delivery on this occassion. Well Done Guys at 6th Ave. |

Roberto, my customer service rep, was instrumental in guiding me through this purchase. He was very informed with all products and took both the time and patience to discuss my purchase options in depth. I'm completely serious...., this service was better than the traditional "brick and mortar" retailers. If you want a curteaous online shopping trip, don't forget to ask for Roberto.
Being a lifetime procrastinator, I waited until the last minute to pull the trigger on the purchase of a Pioneer big screen, Yamaha receiver, KEF 5002 speaker system and a host of other assosiated A/V equipment. I required that all items arrive in 2 days, leaving me enough time to install and tweak the new A/V system for the Superbowl. I'm happy to report that all items were received in perfect condition in the promised 2 day time period. All items came via DHL, except big screen that came via another carrier with the promised white glove service. I'm now enjoying my new A/V system.
My purchase from 6th Ave was absolutely the best online shopping experience ever.

| Rating | 1 / 5 | | Comment | i had brought a panasonic camcorder from this store and when i got home and open the box it was empty, as soon as i when back the store they right away accused me of trying to commit fraud and call the cops on my without not even knowing i was a homeland security officer myself when the cops got to the store and they found out who i was they quietly issue me i refund, but if this was a regular customer am afraid it would have been your word againts their and you would have lost your money, stay away from them |

I was concerned that it had the full warranty, the sales person verified it does as well as the Yamaha site endorses them as an authorized Yamaha dealer. After some researching, I finally made the big purchase and had it sent form the East coast(online order date 12/31/07)to the West coast(delivery 1/10/08). The package arrived yesterday via DHL. The driver called my number and I asked him to drop it off on the side of the house...no signature req'd : ) The unit was double boxed with popcorn Styrofoam and the unit was damage-free!!!! I was pleasantly surprised!!! I will order again from this company. |
