My order was shipped quickly, and the lens was shipped separately to arrive earlier even though holding it to make a single shipment would have only delayed it by one day. That is really proactive customer service. |

I bought the headphones under the assumption that there was a $10 rebate, making the headphones cost an amazing $25. After having made the order, I came to a rather obnoxious revelation. Their rebate consists of getting $10 for returning those headphones as "old" or as a trade in, that sort of thing; not a standard mail-in rebate. Jipped. |

One reason that I purchased from B&H with confidence is that I've just about never heard of a situation that went wrong and that B&H didn't cure very quickly. They probably are the biggest and best online camera store there is. This is a top-notch company with great ethics in a world where most online camera stores are scammers.
I just wish they'd redo their website to make it easier to drill down to find things. |

Top rate products, top rate customer service, consistently super fast delivery. High prices are their weak point, thus I occasionally buy the expensive gear from "the other store", although it's overall customer satisfaction as far as service,falls far below B&H. |

Apparently the focusing motor was malfunctioning so it wouldn't focus whenever I zoomed in on anything. I took advantage of B&H's 15 day return policy. I called B&H to get it set up and they were extremely helpful in getting my camera shipped back to them, processing my new order, and shipping me a new camera. There was no hassle at all and it was very quick. My camera got to my house on the day that I was told it was supposed to ship out...that's service. |

If you think you are going to get a low price for an item without any problem forget it. I have tried. B&H's price is a little more but you get good service which is worth more than the few dollars you will save from other vendors. I have learned my lesson. Stay with a company who is fair and gives good service. I have learned my lesson. Period

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | Honestly I much prefer to support my local photography businesses. After all, they are the ones I go to as a resource for help- and their time and expertise costs them a lot of money. So obviously I prefer to support them.
However, B&H always has great prices and as far as I've ordered, including a camera and lens, they have been great.
I know a lot of other professional photographers who love them and use them often, and the major complaint/fear is "what happens when something breaks or goes wrong- how long will it take to get a replacement!"
I don't know how long, I'm pretty new, but I do know that when they beat out local retailers by $100 or more for some lenses, well I'm going to take that risk that I have to wait a little longer to get things fixed. |

I consider B&H a First Rate operation. I always get my products in new, unopened condition, as ordered, no delays and no excuses. They post availability of a product on their order page and if it is not in stock they give one the option of being notified by e-mail when it is again available. I like that! I'm tired of sites that jerk one around about being back ordered AFTER they accept your purchase and credit card info. I'll keep B&H as my primary source for photo/video equipment.

They might be able to trim away a mouse click or 2, but did the job. Let me build up my order over several days of research, then buy quickly in one order to avoid double shipping charges.
outstanding selection and technical information, which is always my reason for reason for returing to b&h. they have the goods that others do not, and have the information to avoid buying gear that doesn't suite my use.
their prices are pretty good. i find better prices, but those merchants don't deliver reliably.
yeah i'm hooked on b&h. does some one have the cure? |

Seeing how I was burned by a local firm (Helix Camera for the record), I decided to give B&H my business. 2 dSLR bodies, 2 grips, a flash, and 2 L-class lenses later, I'm still very impressed with the speed and professionalism these guys work! I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone looking to get reasonably priced imaging equipment, Thanks B&H! |

Kudos to the shipping department, packing was the best I've received in many years and shipments. This was a web purchase. I like the website. I particularly like email confirmation of shipping with tracking number included. All in all, a fully positive experience. I will happily recommend the store.
One note -- I read reviews of various stores before buying. I purchased from B&H because of the replies B&H has posted to some reviews. It's not so much what was said, but the proof that someone in the company is paying attention to these reviews and to customer's concerns. |
