I was also a little concerned when I put my credit card number in and I could not tell for sure if if was a secure site. But, overall I thought it was quick and easy. |

Between Ebay, Amazon, and B&H, the most comfortable site and the best price and quality was B&H, hands down. I have spent two days looking at different sources for the equipment I purchased and B&H was the most reliable and the one I chose. I'm very satisfied. |

Before buying again from B&H today, I was very close to falling into a "bait and switch" trap by ordering from online scam retailer Sonic Camera. When you have googled Sonic Camera and read the horror customer accounts, come back and order with confidence from B&H, like I did. |

B&H internet customer support was unable to provide clarifying information in a timely manner. B&H unhesitatingly refunded full price, including shipping costs, despite B&H policy that usually excludes refund of shipping. B&H obviously tries to provide superior customer service, with follow-up emails inquiring about my satisfaction. The warranty misunderstanding was undoubtedly a rare event.
The packing of the camera for shipment was very good.
I will definitely shop at B&H Photo again, but would use the telephone for contacting their customer support. |

I do shop around on the web and their prices are comparable to other web companies and as I have good experience with BH I always come back and order from them.
The only thing I would like them to improve upon is the speed of their website. At times it is very sluggish, especially when doing searches.
I love the booklets I get twice a year! |

I purchased a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5, which they had in stock before almost anyone else online, and before ANYONE in a brick and mortar store (most sites list the release date as 3/31/08). The ordering process was simple, I paid $15.50 for 2 day shipping (less than the sales tax I would pay in MA) and had it in my hands 23 hours after I placed the order. It is no wonder these guys are regarded as the best. |

They respond very quickly to emails, and handle everything in a professional and courteous way. I had some troubles with UPS delivering my package to the wrong person, and when I reported this to B&H Photo, they sent me a new order rather than dealing with the hassle of a shipping company about a missing package. It was completely unexpected, but made me very happy. B&H does a wonderful job training its staff. It shows through and through. I highly recommend B&H to everyone. |

Then, "You need the extended warr., you need a longer life battery, you MUST have a Memory Stick". If you don't buy expensive accessories, the relatively inexpensive camcorder is out of stock.
B&H is great, ordered on Mon. afternoon, received camcorder on Thursday morning (and I did not ask for 3 day shipping). B&H has great service, great prices - and I got a free carrying case!) |

Requested the replacement, everything went smooth, send it back, waited 8-10 days for the new lens to come. The service was real good as always at BH. I've been buying all my stuffs from them for years because of that. Never had any problem until now.
Received the lens in look-like-new condition, box was torn. The lens itself is good, but the box is unacceptable (no, the shipping can damage the corners, but can't tear out the box)
It's not a really big deal since I don't take photos with the box, but it makes me feel like they sent me a used or display item to replace my returned lens. I guess they would send me another replacement if I return this one, but I can't wait for 10 more days. |

| Rating | 5 / 5 | | Comment | In the past month I have made 3 significant purchases with B&H (this is the third). In each of the first two cases, I placed my order in the early evening. The items were listed as "in stock" on the web site and since they shipped them before noon on the following morning, obviously they were! (This has not been my recent experience with other merchants web sites). I have been very pleased with my service.
The only item of criticism is that UPS has delivered "beat up" boxes (torn cover on one and side bashed in on my digital camera purchase). As they left them at the door, I was momentarily concerned, however they had adequate bubble wrap to prevent any damage.
I have intended to communicate with B&H about the poor service UPS is providing them. |
