CommentOrdered a Netgear print server on 6-25-08, I selected two day shipping for an additional fee. After not receiving the 30th. I canceled the order and purchased from a retail store.Buy.com had the gall to offer me a 50% refund, never again, will I purchase from them.

CommentI ordered a Corsair power supply for what appeared to be $70 off. I called the sales dept and spoke with someone who assured me the item was in stock for the advertised price.

Needless to say, I placed the order and 4 days later it had not shipped. Numerous calls to their worthless off-shore customer service line proved to me that I was getting played. They said they would 'escalate the issue' and have someone contact me in 1-2 business days.

THREE days later, they offered to 'escalate it' again... what, again!? I demanded to speak to a supervisor and was told he was busy and would return my call... yeah right, never happened.

Two days later, I get an email stating that they have canceled the order due to the unavailability of the item (even though it was back in stock on the site) and that a refund will be given in 2-3 business days. This is the fourth day and I have yet to see any indication of a refund!

The only decent reviews Buy.com has ever had have probably been due to their 'marketplace' purchases where you order from another company through them.

I had heard terrible things about Buy.com... I thought it was all some sort of exaggeration. It's not! trust me, STAY AWAY

CommentToo good to be true! A 1000W Corsair Power supply for $165!? Hell yes! ... here I am a week later, no PSU, no tracking number, and only a vague 'check this link to track via PayPal' response to my inquiries. Yes, the offer was a mistake. Fine. I can live with that -- just give me my money back! I'm not the only one who succumbed to this; I found the price via the hot deals forum on DSLreports.com. In that same thread, are folks that have so far gotten cancellations, and at least one person has reported a refund, as well as a $10 gift card to Buy.com. Whoopie! A $10 gift card from a company I'll never but from again! Mistakes happen, but keeping someone's hard-earned cash for an indeterminate amount of time is utterly ridiculous.

CommentWorst of the worst. Avoid like a plague.

I bought a "free after rebate" software from them. Long story short, the manufacturer went under and refused to pay the rebate. Contacted buy.com, all I heard is that it was not their business. So they are only interested in your money, not interested in taking care of the customers. I advise against anyone from buying from buy.com

CommentDisappointed with their customer service. I ordered a flash drive on 7/1/08. It turned out
the shipping address was wrong. It was not my
fault. Something was wrong with Google checkout.
I tried to change the address, and was told by the customer service that they could do nothing. Then I tried to cancel the order, and
was told that they could not promise anything. And 10 hours later, I received another email. My order has been shipped to the wrong address. Just can not understand.

CommentAvoid Buy.com like the plague! I decided recently to jump on the Xbox 360 bandwagon and bought myself a recertified system for a song. It came to about $150 less than retail. *First warning flag should probably have gone off*... since that's roughly half price. Well I thought Buy.com was a respectable operation - so I went ahead against my better judgment.

Within a few days of placing my woe-begotten order, I got the "shipment" confirmation - and fedex tracking number - via email. And every day, I've been checking the website for an update. After days with no updates - I called Fedex.

Fedex guy tells me "we never got it... it's never been in our system." Whaaa? My credit card shows a charge from Buy.com. There's a tracking number. Dial up Buy.com. 20 minutes later, some woman answers. I explain the situation. She tells me I now have to wait 3-5 days for them to complete an *investigation.*
She goes on to say... if they can't find my package, it will take another 2 - 3 days to issue a refund.

OK - so let me get this straight. Buy.com loses my package, and I have to wait another week for the privilege of a refund?! That means, at best, I won't get my refund until about *3 weeks later*. So I say again... avoid Buy.com like the plague!

CommentOne of my worst experiences EVER with online shopping. With all the new advertising and promotions, I decided to give buy.com a look. I needed a new desktop. I chose was that was "IN STOCK, shipping 1-2 days." EIGHT days later, item was still not in being processed for shipping. I emailed and I got this email in return: "Based on our records, item #206827247 has been delayed in the fulfillment process. We do not have an estimated shipping date at this time. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order ships." SO THE ITEM IS NOT IN STOCK. Now the worst part, I tried to CANCEL - what a nightmare. They only accept cancellation requests and will respong to your request in 7-10 DAYS!!!! WTF?! I have never had this problem with ANY internet company. I need a computer now and I must now wait 7-10 days to see if the company will honor my Cancellation Request beofre I can buy from another company. AVOID BUY.COM AT ALL COSTS.

CommentReturned defective product but was still charged a restocking fee. They said it was my fault that I did not understand their undocumented return policy.

I tried to save a few dollars using Buy.com but it ended up costing me in the end. Do not use Buy.com!

CommentLearn from my bad experience and save yourself the pain. I ordered a 1TB Cavalry drive from Buy.com. It was defective on arrival. They quickly issued an RMA and return shipping label, but that's where it stopped cold. We are going on 3 weeks and they have not given me an update or any response from my e-mails. UPS confirms that the package was delivered, but buy.com still lists the status as 'not yet received'. Just horrible quality and customer service. As I write this, Im out $160 with nothing to show for it. Stay away-- you'll be glad you did.

CommentA warning about buy.com checkout. As part of the process, there is a window about a $10 rebate on your next purchase. Don't click on it because it will enroll you in something from reservations rewards. That's another company and buy.com will share credit card and contact info with them without your concurrence. Reservations rewards will automatically charge your credit card $12 a month for their service without your specific authorization for an "third" party sale.

CommentBought a sandisk 8gb usb flash drive from them, skipped out on some other ones since I had gotten an order confirmation, item in stock and sent to warehouse. I wait an entire week and then they send out an email saying they don't have the item because of some supplier issues. A simple search of their website shows the item now in stock with 1-2 days shipping. They spam this stupid deal on their newsletter sucker a whole bunch of people into buying from them over their competitors then refuse the honor their deal. Worst retailer ever! I will never buy from them again.

CommentBought a SanDisk Cruzer Micro U3 8GB from an email ad. Nine days later I received an email that the order was canceled and the item "is no longer available from that supplier." The same sku 205147212 can be ordered off the web site for nearly double the price when I received the cancellation email. It is listed as in stock, shipping in 1 or 2 days. Ignore Buy.com's email ads, this is the second time I was suckered by a deal they don't ship.

CommentThe worst customer service i've ever experienced with an online retailer.. and i've used a lot of them. I have had very favorable experiences from Amazon and its partners or highly rated ebay sites. This company seems to be good at up-front sales, but just try to get a refund after they ship the wrong product. I've received over 10 one-way emails from this company (after arduously filling in 10+ forms on their www site), and they have not been able to give me a support number callable from Canada (though they do operate here). They keep asking for information they already have.

Laughable - unless you're the customer in question.

CommentI pre-ordered the MGS 4 Bundle from them because they were one of the first places to accept pre-orders. One would think that means they have more time to accumalate the product for the customers especially since they only took pre-orders for one and a half days.
I should have known that it was not going to end well since the information on the website challenged other vendors--they claimed the 80GB PlayStation 3 does not have any backwards compatibility; they also claimed that the manufacturer is THQ Inc. But I've ordered from them before without many problems--this is my first and last time pre-ordering with Buy.com.

I emailed them several times, the first time they claimed that since it was still under pre-order I would have to wait--I emailed them on the 13th, the release date is on the 12th. I emailed them a second time on the 14th, which they replied on the 17th saying that the pre-order is now back-ordered.

This poses a big problem since I am leaving the country in a week and the address it's being sent to will not be monitored. I emailed them my situation and they replied, "Oh you can change your shipping address on FUTURE orders, but ones that have been placed cannot be changed." Why not? The item is now considered "back-ordered" one can change the shipping address without any problems. If my shipment gets stolen, there is going to be hell to raise.

Now I'm stuck with them because all other vendors are sold out. Last time I will pre-order with Buy.com. They're pretty reputable for small $10-$80 items, but big items and pre-orders; they fail, big time.

CommentI purchased a 750GB Lacie External Hard drive from buy.com. Big mistake that was. I had to send back the defective drive which took about two weeks to process.

After contacting customer service about the status of the order through both email and phone I'm simply told that they do not have any information on the delay and that I should wait for the item to ship. When asked if they plan on restocking the item, they gave me the same reply which is ridiculous. They don't even know if they are restocking the item and yet they want me to wait for a replacement. This just goes to show their ignorance when it comes to customer service and their rating here proves it.

It has been over a month since I sent back the replacement and there is still no ETA.

CommentI bought a Cavalry 1TB hard drive that failed after two weeks. Buy.com only allows returns within two weeks of the order date. I had to deal with the manufacturer and pay for the return. I have received two more drives and they are bad.

The drive was also missing a stand and buy.com denied it came with one. The manufacturer says it does.

I wrote a review about my experience at buy.com but they would not publish my negative review. No reason is given, they just don't appear.

CommentRecertified Westinghouse lcd tv 32h240s. found it was defective and shipped back to Westinhouse per their instructions. Did not know I would have to pay $87 shipping costs to return. Buy.com said if I would have sent it to them theywould have taken care of shipping cost. Will know better next time,if I ever do business with them again. Never buy a Westinghouse product again

CommentI used to believe buy.com was an alright company. I would still say they are a decent company if you never have a problem. However, if you are like me and you do have a problem with an order you are in store for some fun.

First, they hide their phone number. Currently 800-800-0800 gets you to a human, but they aren't useful. These customer service representitives might as well be computers. They don't speak english well, they do not deviate from their scripts, and they say anything to get customers to hang up.

The particular problem I called about was a package that never arrived. I submitted a claim for a lost package thinking this shouldn't be a big deal. The value of my lost package was a whopping $10.24. To make a long story short buy.com denied my claim and my appeal. To wade through this took 3 calls to fedex, 4 calls to buy.com and 2 emails to buy.com. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card because I was angry enough I would fight to the death over that $10.24 now.

The real kicker is buy.com claims their responsibility for all packages ends once they give the package to the carrier. Here is some of the email they send.

"I do understand you have reported non-receipt of your order and
apologize for the inconvenience. However, although we always try to do
everything in our power to resolve every customer issue, unfortunately
at this point we are unable to assist you further in this matter.

Per company policy: "Title to goods passes to you upon delivery to the
common carrier." (http://www.buy.com/corp/legal.asp). Basically this
says that once a product is in transit via the shipping carrier, the
ownership and responsibility of the product has passed from Buy.com to
the customer."

Purchase at your own risk!

CommentThey seem like they would be a good store. I was going to buy the Age of Conan Collector's Edition pre order and they had it for a little lower than retail price. After a while I decided to get a regular preorder from somewhere else for an unrelated reason. I cancelled my order (during the time where it was ok to do so) and went on my way.

On the 21st I got and email saying my order was on it's way. That was a tad annoying, but a thing to note is that it was a rare item, offered at the lowest price, and was shipping on time. I recieved the item and it was factory fresh, everything in pristine condition and speedy delivery. I got it only a day or two after my other pre order which had one day shipping.

The only thing that bugged me was the shipping of my item inspite of me cancelling it. And my debit card bounced from the purchase.

My advice, if you want to buy from here, just make sure it's where you want to buy from and you shouldn't have any troubles. Their order cancelling and a payment that ignores a bank account limit seems to be their only problem. And the fact your shipping isn't revealed until after you give them your payment info. But they have normal shipping rates.

I would try to buy from them again if I needed to. Prices are good.

CommentI placed my order on 5/27. On 5/30 it went to "in the shipping process" where it cannot be cancelled because it is being picked from the shelves, packaged, and stacked on the loading dock. Great, where are the shelves? How long does it take to get to the shelves? My order should say it is in processing, we don't have it in stock and we have charged your account! If you don't have the item, don't advertise it for sale. Very poor way to run a business and lose customers. Not a good thing when the economy is doing poorly.

CommentI will never order from BUY.com again after the way I was treated. I ordered wedding bands for my wedding, and for the shipping address put on my fiance's home address. I got an email 24 hours later stating that they couldn't ship to that address because it was not on file with my credit card company. I had to look everywhere on their site to find a phone numer, then I experienced long hold times, then was transferred all over the place before finally getting to a supervisor who I could barely understand because of her accent. I tried repeatedly to give them my home address which was on file with my credit card, but they refused to take it, saying there was no way they could modify an order once it had been placed. My main problem was the constant "don't care" attitude I received at all levels. There's $1500 worth of my business they missed out on, and a customer so upset at them that I'll never order again.

CommentI guess I was lucky. Thrilled with the service & delivery; product arrived as promised on the website. Numerous emails form them with tracking updates on the shipping. Product actually arrived way earlier than promised.

I will definitely buy from buy.com again.

CommentI've been a happy buy.com customer for years until I ordered an Asus Eee PC 900 from them. Their website showed the item to be in stock, but very few left, so I ordered it right away. I really wanted it quickly so I could have it for my vacation the following week, so I paid extra for Second Day delivery.
The next day they e-mailed me that it was sent to the warehouse. On the third day they e-mailed me that it was backordered.
All this time their website still showed the item as being in stock.
I feel that I should have notified by the very next day if the item wasn't available, especially since I paid for priority service. This is unforgivable.
I'll continue to use them for items that I'm not in a hurry to receive, but never again for something that I need soon.

CommentHorrible customer service. They sent me the wrong item and REFUSED to accept a return. They are extremely unprofessional. WHen it comes time to charge your credit card they are very quick to do so, but to solve an issue, they will not.
I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

Commentordered an lg headset. i used a coupon, but it wasn't accepted. shipping to california was ok. it took longer than i expected. when i order things to oregon with the free shipping option i receive it in about 10 busisness days (that's 2 weeks), which is quite a long time to wait. it is free though. other than that, prices are good, they have good promotions, and i'm patient so i'm satisfied.

CommentThis has to be the worst experience I have ever had purchasing from an online retailer. I ordered my item and took advantage of a 5% off my order discount. The discount was reflected off the item in the shopping cart and final checkout. When I completed the order, it thanked me and showed me I was billed the price without the discount. I verified with my billing method and infact i was charged the full amount (no discount).

After 4 emails and 2 phone representatives @ buy.com customer service, the answer I was finally given was that it wasn't valid because of a free shipping promotion.

Never will I purchase any item from Buy.com again. I would rather spend more money elsewhere then deal with these incompetent morons.

You outsource your customer service, you may as well close up shop because your companies demise is inevitable.

CommentThis was my first and the last experience with this site. I purchased the Diamond HD2600XT from this site and it showed up 10 days later even though I cancelled it. Took forever to get their customere service number. The customer service was horrible, I could barely understand what they were saying. They don't even try to help. Even after speaking with the customer service supervisor the outcome was hopeless. They have a scam running with the shady manufacturers. They have strange rules about 14 days return policy which starts the day you place the order. This policy is completly designed to screw the customer. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOLKS AGAIN.

Commentplaced order thru google checkout for a memory card, initial 'tracking' showed it shipped the next day, but the tracking number provided worked on neither fedex's or usps' sites. after a week, there were two other clickable tracks using the same number, all traveling different places across the country (none of which near me). Called buy.com to find out what was going on, they had no clue, said they would submit a claim and it would take 3-5 business days to get back to me. During that time they refused to talk about the item until the 5 business days had passed. It's painfully obvious that they weren't doing anything at all during this time, it was a stalling tactic to 'wait and see what happens' it is now 6 business days later, and over 2 weeks since I initially placed the order and still no word from buy.com. I would recommend everyone to stay far away from buy.com. My girlfriend had a similar problem with an order accidentally improperly placed, she tried to cancel just over an hour later and they said they couldn't do it, even though the item didn't ship till 3 days later. AVOID buy.com.

CommentI cannot begin to express my disappointment with the service I received from buy.com. I ordered a simple cable a week ago, and today, a full week later, received an email telling me that the item is no longer available and that my order has been canceled .

In short, they sold me an item they didn't even have, and waited a full week to tell me that they didn't actually have it. I had been anxiously awaiting the product's arrival, and needed it for tonight (this is why I ordered it a week ago.)

When I called to complain, they informed me that although the product is no longer in stock, it is STILL available to purchase on their website. So, another poor sap could easily try to purchase the item and be subjected to the same treatment that I had.
No real effort was made to resolve my complaint, except an inquiry to have the item removed from their website after I made a scene about it.

I will never use buy.com again, and I intend to file complaints to both the local chamber of commerce and better business bureaus.

CommentI placed an order on 05/11/08 for the ASUS EEE PC 900 with Windows XP. I had used the online coupon code to get 5% off my order and everything went smoothly. I had also chosen the FREE SHIPPING option and my order was shipped out on 05/12/08 and it arrived on 05/16/08 (since I'm on the east coast). Overall, I am very pleased with the service. It might also be because I got the XP version and they probably had a lot of these in stock. I've read mixed reviews about some people receiving their Linux version and some people who's status still indicates "Sent to Warehouse". I guess it all depends on how many they have in stock at certain warehouses.

CommentThis store is about the only place that will not pricematch itself!!
If you purchase in BestBuy Amazon Circuit City they will all pricematch themselves if their own price drops within 30 days but with Buy.com you can only request pricematch to their approved list of retailers and within, get this, 3 DAYS!
Also they make it a point not to disclose their number so you can't bother them and if you do find the number, they pretty much let you know they DON'T need your business.

CommentDo not buy from this company. I purchased a USB drive for $35.99 with free shipping. 3 Days later I got an weekly email for the same item for $32.95 with free shipping. I contacted Customer Support to get credit for the difference in price. I receive an email from Customer Support with "Our Low Price Guarantee cannot be used with coupons, rebates, promotional offers, or product-bundle pricing on the order. In your order you have opted for 'Free Shipping Promotion', therefore we are unable to honor the Low Price Guarantee."

This is beyond ridiculous. This is a trap to me.

CommentBEWARE! BEWARE! On May 12, Buy.com's web site said they had Ausus Eee PC 900 computers in stock. A first-time user of Buy.com, I called and placed an order since I was desperately trying to get this hard-to-obtain item before I left the country for several weeks on May 19. They took my credit card and sent an e-mail that the order was In Process. I was assured that the item would easily arrive before my deadline because it was "in stock" and I had arranged for Overnight Delivery (at extra charge). On May 14 their web site said that my order was "In Shipping Process", so I called to check when it would arrive. I was told that the computer would be at my house the next day -- May 15. Perfect, no? Just what one would expect from a good internet transaction, no? NO! A call on May 15 provided the information that the item was NOT AVAILABLE at "the vendor"!! After talking with the supervisor, I could get no information about the vendor, the possible shipping schedule, etc. In other words -- too bad, sucker. No matter what we told you about the item's availability and arrival at my door, everything had changed. They said they would "submit" an order cancellation -- which would taked 3-5 business days to be approved (and it "might not be approved" -- in which case they would ship the computer to my empty house where it would sit for weeks while I was away!). After a lot of verbal fussing, they submitted my cancellation. To their credit, a few hours later I received an e-mail from Buy.com that my order HAD been canceled. I have the impression that the shouting at the supervisor was a factor. BEWARE! BEWARE!

CommentIn January of 2007, I purchased two Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks from buy.com. Upon arrival, features that were advertised, and why the machines were purchased, weren't included in what I received. After receiving the RMA, and following the return instructions to the letter, only ONE of the machines was credited back to me. I was unable to conact anyone at buy.com via email or their phone system, which left me on an endless loop of piano music for over 45 minutes with no pickup. I immediately reported to my credit card company, who started an investigation. They were unable to help me, as buy.com told them that only one machine was returned, which was incorrect. Months of dispute followed.

To make a long story short, after countless phone calls, letters, and faxes, finally, with help from the New York State Attorney General's office it has finally been resolved, and my accounted credited - ONE YEAR AND FOUR MONTHS later!

I will NEVER EVER again do business with this CORRUPT, INEPT, SCAMMING, and downright THIEVING company, and will advise others to do the same. This is the worst experience shopping with any company that I've ever had.

Avoid this company at all costs, they are a NIGHTMARE.

CommentI am still in the midst of a fiasco. I really wish I would have seen this site considering I purchased over $6k in products and only 6 of my 28 prodcuts have shipped. I did obtain a phone # for Buy.com customer service since it's posted NOWHERE on their website or in the e-mails they send. I've called it twice and yes... very difficult to understand and honestly their customer service dept. can't deal with anything. They are just there to parrot what's been said in an e-mail and can offer no new information regarding orders. Phone #: 1-800-800-0800

CommentI ordered and recieved an Diamond ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 525MHz DX10 PCI-E x16 CrossFire Supported Video Card .
After using this card for8-10 days I noticed jagged lines in the display & requested a RMA which was issued at that time, April 19 I think.
I shipped the package back on April 21 & it was delivered to Buy.com on 4-25-08.
I heard nothing from them about recieving the return until I inquired on 5/2/08.

I recieved a reply (Hello Dxxxxx Bxxxxxx

We have received your returned merchandise, RMA #2252935, on 04/25/2008.

Please allow a maximum of 5-7 business days to process your return.

At the time we issued your RMA, we asked you to choose between two options: Receiving a refund for your return or replacing your merchandise. Since you requested a replacement, a new order will be sent to fulfillment once our warehouse has processed your return.

Nothing has been done since then except an exchange of emails. It will have been 3 weeks on
5/9/08 since they recieved the return & have been perfecting their brain dead actions.

It seems Buy.com is just another rip off artist when it cmes to returns & customer service.

CommentOrdered a Canon SD1100IS. Price was fine, but it arrived in a bubble envelope! Seriously, who ships a brand new digital camera in a bubble envelope? The box was mangled. Very disappointed; will not be shopping through buy.com again.

CommentGreat prices! Lowest on web for most. Ive bought countless items from buy.com. Last was a grill for $282. Free shipping, no tax. Im surprised at the many many negatives. Anyway, Weber Grill was most expensive item I bought. It did take 2 1/2 weeks for delivery, but works great. I do recommend this company for lowest pricing.

CommentThe merchandise was fine. A very attractive rebate offer was, however, only fiction. They contracted with a shyster firm called BSP to refuse all rebates, no matter what you sent in. No followup service. Terrible, crooked company.

CommentMAKE SURE YOU WANT WHAT YOU BUY. IF YOU RETURN SOMETHING THEY WILL ONLY REIMBURSE YOU FOR 25 PERCENT OF THE BILL. NOT TO MENTION THAT YOU PAID POSTAGE AND INSURANCE TO GET THE PACKAGE TO THEM. I RETURNED AN EXPENSIVE MODEM AND AND EXPENSIVE WEB CAM AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE CREDIT THEY WERE ISSUING. BUYER BE WARE. IT IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY. I READ THE RETURN POLICY AND THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY ONLY TO CHARGE FOR RE-STOCKING. FIRST AND LAST TIME I DEAL WITH THEM. SO MAKE SURE YOU REALLY WANT THE ITEM YOU PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Commentbuy.com = horrible customer service. As of today a lifetime rating of 4.33 which is bad and a six month rating of 2.xx, buy.com is not a good retailer and apparently getting worse. It might be ok if your product arrives and you have no problems. If you do you are S--- out of luck.

14 day return policy and they won't do a refund for a defective product. They first said they'd do an exchange but then recanted and sent me a link to Nokia's warranty site. Brand new $250 phone used for 5 minutes and they won't help at all. And to add to the frustration the only way to contact them is through a "contact us" application on the website. No phone numbers and they wouldn't call me despite a request. Further, their email responses would not allow a response back. This means you have to start over each time with their contact us application.

I wish I wish I wish I had seen the reviews here before my purchase. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere other then buy.com even if it is a few more bucks.

CommentDo not buy from this company under any circumstances. I purchased a $2800 television that does not work properly. I told them I wanted a replacement. They have refused and I can not get anywhere with the manufacturer. I have brought my credit card company into the situation. I hope they can win.

Buy.com has a very sneaky way of playing everything out slowly. It takes days to get to the actual support team at Buy.com. Once you do get them, they e-mail you at the end of the day. YOu have to respond after hours and you have to wait for the next day to hear back.

If you have a problem with them, call your credit card company immediately. Or better yet DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

CommentI was VERY leery of purchasing from Buy.com however, the order went smoothly (PayPal) and the shipment arrived undamaged (Fedex). I ordered a D-Link 5-port gigabit switch with free shipping. This was my first purchase from them. I would try them again to see if all goes well again.

worst customer service and ordering imaginable
I ordered a laptop and RAM to go with it on 5/1. they promised that it was in stock and would ship same day - also failed to tell me that someone would be calling my HOME PHONE NUMBER during a weekday (I work, like most people) to verify the shipping address (which we already did 3 times during the order). After several HOURS on the phone with customer service managers, they decided on 5/6 to expedite shipping on the ram (only) for their mistakes - however, they sent the WRONG RAM, so I had to charge the right RAM and eat shipping to get it on time before leaving the country. they still have not credited my card, though I refused shipment on their screwup. absolute incompetence - DO NOT BUY FROM BUY.COM
