Summary

I haven't seen a worst customer service in my life time. Buy.com betrayed me by selling an defective product registered on some ones name. They dont care about their customers once after they sell the products. they are not taking any proper measures or any responses for the complaint. i really dont trust the quality of products in buy.com and i recommend even to all the people i know not to buy any products from buy.com, since they will be nice till they sell the product then they dont damn care about the customer satisfaction. i have taken many actions regarding the defective product, atlast i ended up in throwing the buy.com product wort of 130$ in trash in just 2 months. they gave me no option.

Summary

For starters DON'T BUY FROM BUY.COM EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE- BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS- NO WARRANTY -WHEN WARRANTY STATED ON ITEM DESCRIPTION PAGE- BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!!! MANY OTHER GREAT ONLINE RETAILERS OUT THERE! PAY A FEW DALLARS MORE OR LESS FROM  OTHER QUALITY ONLINE RETAILERS! 
Now the fine detail I have purchased a number items in the past from buy.com without any problems. I did return a  Archos PVP/MP3 player for exchange (the battery would not hold charge for one that works fine. My next purchase was refurbished IBM Thinkpad 42 laptop computer /w warranty,  as stated on the buy.coms website from Buy.com The computer arrived quickly, within a week. but instead of getting a refurbished laptop, I was sent a used laptop with paperwork stating from IBM that the laptop come  as is- with no warranty written or implied and is used. call Buy.coms costomer service and arranged a returm, they gave me a RMA  #  without any problem, but said I would have to pay the 15% restocking fee. I objected, but they said thats there policy and  too bad!!!!
I asked about the warranty and they gave me the runaround with that too!!! Stating that I would have to talk to the manufacturer about the nonexistance warranty and buy.com does not warranty the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now I am stuck with used laptop with no warranty that I could have paid 80.00 less for on ebay. The laptop does work I must say, so this is not a complete disaster. but this will be my last purchase from Buy.com!!! for SURE! MY advice- go some place else!
