Following is the actual email I sent to Payless Plasma regarding my opinion of their horrible sales and service. Dan _____________________ Att: John I contacted customer service several days ago. After being put on hold and my call lost two different times, I finally got through and talked with Alex (Ext.15). I was informed that the TV had not shipped as stated it would and now was not in stock -- the manufacturer didn't have any available for you at this time. This is contrary to what your sales rep, Dave, told me when he gladly took the order on 7/16. He said that you 'had it in stock.' I ordered the faster shipping. Dave apparently lied. I could have ordered the TV elsewhere but went to Payless because he assured me that it was 'in stock' and could go out in a day or two. I contacted your firm after the full, longest delivery schedule date had passed. Nobody from Payless attempted to contact me to tell me that the order never went out and, in fact, that you didn't know when it could go out. Alex said, three days ago when I called, that he would send an email to his supervisor, copy me on the email, and call me with an update the next day. I didn't receive the email or the call. More lies? You have said the 'shipment was delayed by a few business days' and and that I would "receive the shipment next week.' Obviously that is not true either. What is wrong with you people? When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told that he/she was only available by email. I was willing to give a few more days to get answers and hopefully the shipment. But obviously your firm and your people are not worthy of my trust or business. Firms like yours give on-line shopping a black-eye. I had a need to receive that order within the timeline. I didn't even get the courtesy of a notice that it never was shipped. I have lost nearly three weeks. Cancel the order! I will give the business to someone else and also make a very strong effort to post this horrible customer service information on web sites where others might have the need to know and be spared from PaylessPlasma.com deceptive methods. Paid $199.99 for 24-72 hour processing. Order was placed on a Tuesday at 10AM. They shipped the television the following Monday afternoon. On top of that, they tacked on a $59.68 fee. I'm still not sure what this is. The bill says Promo (HIP 6%). $259.67 to send a 37" 50 pound TV to me seems excessive. They do a very poor job of answering their phone, as well. My wife spent much of a day trying to get tracking info from them.

I ordered a Flat Panel HDTV from Paylessplasma. I received an e-mail notification from the shipping company that the packaged had been delivered but I did not receive it. It turns out it was delivered to the wrong address and, in the end, could not be retrieved by the shipping company. I called Payless when I first received notification of the delivery, which I had not received, to ask for help and instructions on what should be done. (I figured they would know what to do, after all, their "free shipping" included a $115 shipping insurance charge that was not listed on the website when I placed the order) They said that since the package was signed for (even though not by me nor anyone in my building) it was my problem and not theirs. A person claiming to be the manager and owner of Payless came on the phone insisting that nothing could be done for me. When I stated I would call the credit card company for help since I had not paid the bill yet, he said "if you stop payment on the charge, since you live in NYC and we have your address, we will come over, ring your bell and BUST OPEN YOUR HEAD." He then abruptly hung up the phone. It seems Paylessplasma only resorts to head busting if you live in NYC. So if you live in NYC and do not own a helmet you may not want to order from here. Fortunately for me, the shipping company and credit card companies have been very helpful. Payless should get their money from the shipping company if they file a claim. On the other hand, Paylessplasma is very unprofessional and seems to have no idea how to run a business shipping products.

I ordered a sharp 52 inch flat screen TV. It works well and I acquired it at a good price. The shipping I chose only took a few days. There was some issue with my credit card, but they helped me clear it right up. They really know what they are talking about, and they are so helpful when I called them. Great service!

We ordered a HD Plasma from Payless Plasma & from the beginning it was nothing but problems. They advertise free shipping but only if you don't want tracking and they don't call before delivery & they will just leave it on your driveway if you aren't home. So, we paid for premium shipping. They said the TV was in stock & would ship within 3 business days. Two weeks later it still hadn't shipped. When they did finally say they shipped it, weeks went by with no activity on the tracking and when they finally returned our phone calls they said that it had arrived at "the hub" but that it had been damaged in transit and "the hub" wouldn't accept it for shipping. Then of course they had no others in stock even though their facade of a website stated they had several in stock. We finally get our "new" tv and it doesn't work properly. We call Sharp as we have a warranty only to have them tell us that our tv is a refurbished one and so there is no warranty. Some guy from PP named Sally calls us back after weeks of leaving messages and he said he would look into it and get back to us. That was 2 months ago. Their phone number on the website no longer works, you either get the "voicemail box full" message or a busy signal. This was obviously some guy working out of the trunk of his car so whatever you do DON'T ORDER ON LINE from these schmucks!!!
