I received an e-mail notification from the shipping company that the packaged had been delivered but I did not receive it. It turns out it was delivered to the wrong address and, in the end, could not be retrieved by the shipping company. I called Payless when I first received notification of the delivery, which I had not received, to ask for help and instructions on what should be done. (I figured they would know what to do, after all, their "free shipping" included a $115 shipping insurance charge that was not listed on the website when I placed the order) They said that since the package was signed for (even though not by me nor anyone in my building) it was my problem and not theirs. A person claiming to be the manager and owner of Payless came on the phone insisting that nothing could be done for me. When I stated I would call the credit card company for help since I had not paid the bill yet, he said "if you stop payment on the charge, since you live in NYC and we have your address, we will come over, ring your bell and BUST OPEN YOUR HEAD." He then abruptly hung up the phone. It seems Paylessplasma only resorts to head busting if you live in NYC. So if you live in NYC and do not own a helmet you may not want to order from here. Fortunately for me, the shipping company and credit card companies have been very helpful. Payless should get their money from the shipping company if they file a claim. On the other hand, Paylessplasma is very unprofessional and seems to have no idea how to run a business shipping products.

They advertise free shipping but only if you don't want tracking and they don't call before delivery & they will just leave it on your driveway if you aren't home. So, we paid for premium shipping. They said the TV was in stock & would ship within 3 business days. Two weeks later it still hadn't shipped. When they did finally say they shipped it, weeks went by with no activity on the tracking and when they finally returned our phone calls they said that it had arrived at "the hub" but that it had been damaged in transit and "the hub" wouldn't accept it for shipping. Then of course they had no others in stock even though their facade of a website stated they had several in stock.
We finally get our "new" tv and it doesn't work properly. We call Sharp as we have a warranty only to have them tell us that our tv is a refurbished one and so there is no warranty.
Some guy from PP named Sally calls us back after weeks of leaving messages and he said he would look into it and get back to us. That was 2 months ago. Their phone number on the website no longer works, you either get the "voicemail box full" message or a busy signal.
This was obviously some guy working out of the trunk of his car so whatever you do DON'T ORDER ON LINE from these schmucks!!! | | Do you recommend this retailer? | No |

They are as crooked as they come with the rudest customer service. A huge $200+ mandatory insurance charge will be added with every TV order. Cancel the order, and youll get hit with a 7% cancellation fee, or they might say they need to restock and charge you 25%. If that wasnt enough, their shipping companies will drive you insane with 10am-8pm delivery times. Miss the delivery, and tack on $200 more!
You might think to yourself, there are many positive reviews maybe I should take a chance and order. Pay attention to those positive reviews. Do you notice they are all short and never written on Saturday? Coincidentally, paylessplasma is closed on Saturday. In fact, the manager at paylessplama told me that any negative reviews will be taken care of. Sadly, this tactic is used more and more often by bad merchants. They come up with a new name for a website, write a bunch of fake reviews, and then con as many people as they can before changing the name of their website. Im still kicking myself today for believing the authentic sounding fake reviews.
If you still believe a merchant that has been in business for less than 9 months (they say theyve been in business for 10 years but go check on BBB) can legitimately outsell big online retailers, then go ahead and click that purchase button it will be a thousand dollar mistake! The price was 2299.99 with a free HD dvd player.I mentioned that to paylessplasma and they told me that they
dont give out free dvd players but can deffinately give me a much better deal then any retail store.
I was looking for a package deal, the salesmen from payless gave me
the 5yr pixel plan, a 6 foot HD cable and the 2 day express shipping for 1899.99 tax-free. They did however charge me
for shipping insurance it was 28.83, my bill came out to be 1930 roughly. I saved about 400 bucks going with

The original TV i was looking at was the D62 version through Sharp. Until one of their sales associates directed me towards the D64U series.. it was a bit more money but deffinately worth it. It looks like a picture frame, i must say Sharp out did themselfs with this model. Would'v got the 52 inch, but it was just too expensive for me. Hopefully it'll go down in price within the next few months.. and i'll purchase it for my living room and put this one in my bedroom. There is really not much to say about this merchant except that they kept
their word, delivered as promised. Prices were great, it was a little inconvenient
that their shipping company didn't help us unpack it, b.c. i am on disability.
Other then that i am very happy with the purchase i made, TV is great.

I wasn't aware of the internal damage until a few days later when i installed it. The moment i turned the unit on, the screen had a crack. Sent a e-mail to paylessplasma.com, got a quick response within a few hrs.. they e-mailed me a reverse shipping label, had the FedEx driver come pick it up. It took paylessplasma.com roughly 3 business days for me to get the replacement, for the inconvenience they managed to upgrade me the the slim line version of the 52 inch sharp at no extra cost. I guess that's what they do :)
