Bob Nystrom Hand Signed Cup Over Head 8x10 Photograph
To many New York Islanders fans, Bobby Nystrom was the heart and soul of the team during their run of four straight Stanley Cups from 1980-83. Nystrom played with fiery passion and pure joy wore, and he had a heck of a shot, too, especially in the playoffs. To this day, Nystrom is beloved on Long Island and hated in Philadelphia for the most memorable goal of his career, as he pushed a pass from teammate John Tonelli past Flyers goalie Pete Peeters in overtime during the Stanley Cup Final on May 20, 1980. Nystrom retired in 1986 and his number 23 hangs proudly in the rafters at the Nassau Coliseum. Bobby Nystrom has hand signed this 8x10 photograph of him hoisting the Stanley Cup over his head. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
