1. Fans

Fans are still one of the most energy efficient cooling options, using a fraction of the energy that an AC uses. Granted, you will not get the same type of cooling that you will get from an AC, but if you have a smaller room, or if you use it for personal use it is an excellent and energy efficient way to cool down.

2. Evaporative Air Coolers

Evaporative air cooler are more energy sufficient than air conditioners. This is because they pass air through water-saturated pads which subsequently brings the temperature down. It will of course not be as efficient as an air conditioner, but you will still be able to cool down a smaller home or a room.

On average those who use a smart thermostat save more on cooling than those who do not have it. With a smart regulation of temperature you can easily manually or automatically control the temperature in your home.
