Must Have Fashion Trends for Spring 2021

Matilda Hansson

After a year of switching from pyjamas to lounge wear we are ready to, along with warmer weather embrace some spring trends, even if we can just wear it around the house.

What's trending?

With a potential end in sight for lockdown why not take this opportunity to invest in some key pieces that will elevate your spring wardrobe and give you that joie de vivre we all so desperately need right now and there is no quicker fix for that than a new closet and spring happens to have our favourite fashion pieces of all seasons! New clothes and bright colours make you feel happier and it helps you to not fall into the how-long-can-I-get-away-with-wearing-pj's-phase.

1. Pastels

Spring or the season of pastel, as it inevitably becomes year after year. But we're not complaining, we welcome any burst of colour after a long season of somber and muted tones. Although we do see pastels every spring on the runway the colour chart always vary somewhat, and this year we have our eyes on the light purple and yellow pastels. You can either go all out and deck yourself head to toe in the colour or add accent pieces to a neutral outfit that will look both trendy and springy.

2. Regency Core

The Bridgerton Regency Core trend is here to stay and we're not mad. Everything from puffy sleeves to flowy Mr.Darcy shirts are all the rage right now, so choose a few pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe or go full Bridgerton, whichever you choose you will surely be seeing many regency inspired pieces this spring.

3. Keep it practical

Spring in all her glory, but we also know that she all too oft comes with her dear companion, rain. So why not mesh practicality with fashion. A nice pair of wellies will look great with a pair of light trousers or a flowy floral dress. You get a cool contrast to your outfit as well as keeping your toes dry. We have also been loving the new fashionable rain coats that are trending, both a practical and chic companion to your OOTD.

4. Back to basics

Neutral white and beige colours are great for creating a stylish and cohesive look, then use colour blocking for some key pieces to create a real statement look that still is very chic but gently whispers spring is here.
