Three tips when buying a scooter
Kickbikes are fun for both adults and children for fitness and performing tricks, and they can now be seen at most skate parks. You can also use it for travelling short distances.
Kick scooter. There are kick scooters in a hybrid design with a handlebar that more closely resembles a BMX handlebar and a wider standing area. A good transport scooter with the added bonus of a handbrake.
Adult scooter. A larger and more robust model that works well as an alternative to a normal bike. These scooters have larger wheels and are often available in clever folding designs, perfect for taking on public transport.
Not overloading the components with too much weight ensures the scooter enjoys a longer lifespan and makes it feel safer during use. Choose a well-built model that’s sturdy without feeling too heavy, and you won’t need to replace it after just one season. Use the filter functions to search by both maximum weight and age to find the right models.
