Find products in stock and watch inventory status

This is how PriceRunner can help you find the item you're looking for

In this guide, we show you how to do the following:

• Watch inventory status: A guide in 10 simple steps on how to, on your phone or computer, watch the inventory status for an item and get an email when the item is back in stock at any of the stores listed on PriceRunner.

• Find stores that have an item in stock: A guide in three steps on how to use the filter "Show only in stock" to see which stores have the item you were planning on buying.

The steps are basically the same whether you're on a phone or on a computer.

How to watch inventory status - 10 simple steps

Do you want to buy an item, but it's not in stock? Since the holidays are almost upon us, some products might currently be sold out in all stores. Then you can use PriceRunner to watch the inventory status. This is what you need to do, step by step, to monitor it and get an email as soon as the product you are looking for is in stock at any store:

1. Go to PriceRunner.com

Go to our start page www.pricerunner.com.

2. Use the search function

Click on the field with the text "What are you looking for today?" This is where you search for products.

3. Type in the item you are looking for

Type the name of the item or type of product you're looking for. In this guide, we use Lego as an example.

4. Click on the search results

When you've typed in your search phrase, you click on the suggestion that best matches what you're looking for. In this example, we choose to click on the top suggestion; "Lego in Toys" and get a large number of products.

5. Choose a product

If you search for a type of product, you get a lot of suggestions for a variety of toys.

6. Open the product

Click on the product you are looking for. In our example, we choose the most popular, that is shown on the top of the page; Lego Jurassic World T-Rex vs Dino Mech Battle 75938.

7. Watch inventory status

If the product is not in stock, you will see a box with information that you can "Monitor" the product's inventory status.

8. How to set up monitoring the product

If you are NOT a PriceRunner member, the box to watch inventory status will have an empty field. Type in your email address in that field and click "Monitor".

If you are already a PriceRunner member, you don't have to type in your email address. Just click "Monitor".

9. Confirm your setup

When you've typed in your email address and clicked "Monitor", you get a confirmation about your setup at the top of your screen.

10. How watching inventory status works

• As soon as the item you've searched for is on stock again, we will send you an email.
• You get an email if the item is in stock again, regardless of which store has it.
• You can watch as many products as you want.
• Remember that you have to monitor each individual product you search for.

Use PriceRunner to quickly find our where you can buy a product

Even if a product is sold out in a lot of places, there might still be stores that have it in stock. We show you in three simple steps how you find where you can still get the product you're looking for.

1. Choose a category

Find the product you want to buy. In this example, we go to the category Lego.

2. Use the filter

On your computer, click the filter "Show only in stock" in the filter menu on the right. If you're on a phone, press the three dots and select "Show only in stock" in the menu that pops up.

3. Now you only see product sin stock

Now you've filtered out all products that are sold out. The products you now see on your screen can be purchased at at least one of our stores. Pick the product you're interested in to see at which store you can buy it.

Now you hopefully have everything you need to get just the Christmas presents that your kids have wished for. And if you're lucky, you might get it at a good price, as well. Make sure to use our price graph for the product in question to see if the current price is a fair one. The price graph can be found under "Statistics".
