Born in 1983. Business & Economics, School of Economics, Sweden. Founded the e-commerce company Lazada in Vietnam and was CEO in Vietnam and Malaysia during the period 2012-2014. The company was subsequently sold to the Chinese company AliBaba. I then founded the listed custom software development company fram^, and run the investment company Endurance Capital in Vietnam.
I'm passionate about the retail trade and about buying and selling things in general – both online and offline. E-commerce is becoming increasingly international every day, at the same time that the retail and e-commerce channels are increasingly flowing together. The retail is developing differently in Asia and Europe – and I'm hoping to be able to share some interesting perspectives, contrasts and opportunities.
Skis and wilderness gadgets! One of my favourite things is to strap on a pair of touring skis, then fill my Fjellpulken X Country 118 mountain sledge with gadgets and freeze-dried food to go out into a national park and camp for a week at 30 degrees below zero. It sounds ridiculous when you read it, but it's an unbeatable feeling once you've tried the experience!
Born in 1983. Business & Economics, School of Economics, Sweden. Worked at McKinsey as a consultant, 2008-2016. Currently working for Nordstjernan, the principal owner of PriceRunner.
I have a huge passion for creating better consumer services – quite simply that we all should be able to find the best possible product based on our individual preferences and needs in an easy and convenient way.
I have small children, so that's the type of product at the top of my wish list just now – everything from large, more expensive purchases like car seats and winter overalls to the most affordable plastic pool for the garden. One of my most used favourites is the Maxi-Cosi Pebble car seat.
Born in 1973. Business & Economics, Lund University, Sweden. Started Tretti.se and was then CEO of the Nordic e-commerce group Qliro Group. In addition to working with PriceRunner, I'm currently on the board of several growth companies.
For 20 years I've worked with e-commerce and with delivering great products at competitive prices. PriceRunner has been an important collaboration partner in my earlier assignments and to now be able to work with PriceRunner feels very stimulating.
The product I use most is my smartphone, so my answer has to be simply "Apple iPhone". I'm now thinking about upgrading to a brand the iPhone X.
Born in 1968. Business & Economics, School of Economics, Sweden. Applied to the School of Economics after seeing the film Wall Street, but ended up in the media industry. Then the internet came along and that was much more fun. Was involved in starting the digital stock market E*TRADE in 1999 and competed with Nicklas Storåkers at Avanza. Adopted the motto "If you can't beat them, join 'em", and in 2006 I was instead elected as a board member of Avanza. Now I work with a range of digital initiatives; I've started a number of my own companies, sit on several boards and invest in start-ups.
When I was asked to be on the board of PriceRunner, I immediately answered YES! I'm passionate about digital products and thought that PriceRunner had received too little love and affection from its previous owners. So it's great fun to be along for the ride!
Definitely my fishing gear. I own more than 25 rods and reels, but weirdly I always have a need for one more. I also have a "lunchtime fishing boat", so I can leave the office at 11.50 and cast for my first pike at 12.00.
Born in 1974. Business & Economics, School of Economics, Sweden. Started the internet bank Avanza and was CEO for the period 1999-2011.
I love doing good things for my fellow human beings. A service I can be proud of when I talk to my friends and family. At PriceRunner, we help consumers to find better products at lower prices. It's by far the most enjoyable job I've ever had.
I'm a bit of a gadget geek, so it's hard to say. Various kitchen and garden appliances are probably closest to my heart. So things like blenders, secateurs and robotic lawnmowers. My very favourite product right now is the ARS VS-8Z, a pair of Japanese secateurs in forged steel. They're incredibly sharp!
Born in 1980. Authorised Public Accountant, PWC.
