Sonos Amp

Has been using Sonos products for ten years. Straight through, Sonos is really great and easy to install and use. Have longed for the new Sonos Ap. The big news is that it has an HDMI input so you can connect Sonos with its speakers to the HDMI ARC output on the TV. It's good and easy to have both TV audio and music via Sonos without having to have an amplifier in between. This is great. The new Sonos Amp is also stylish and not very big. The new detachable speaker outputs are very smooth. But the major disadvantage that the new Sonos Amp should be aware of is that it lacks “line out”, i. e. a low-level output. It is needed if you want to connect the Aampen to a final step. The function was supposed to come on this new model, but for some reason it was extradited, which is a pity. What you can do is use a high-to-low level switch, but it feels like unnecessarily complicated. This miss makes the rating not to be five star.Show more
