Once you have narrowed your search...

	Show Prices Clicking this link will bring up a list of all the merchants who sell the product through the PriceRunner website. For most consumers, the obvious goal when using a price comparison website is finding the item you want quickly and at the lowest possible price. For this reason, we offer several different “filtering options” that make it easy to sort through products in a way that best suits your needs. At the top right hand side of the screen you will see a pull down menu that is set by default to “sort by popularity.” When you click the little arrow at the right hand side of this menu you will see several different sorting options including “sort by base price.” Select this option to see a list of items arranged by price from lowest all the way up to highest. Some of our merchants are set up with a direct link so that you can click directly to the item on their website, others are not. In the case that a merchant does not have a direct link you will need to click the "show info on retailer" link on the left hand side of the screen beneath the store name and find the URL for the website displayed. Next you will copy and paste this link into another browser window and then search for the product on this merchants website.
	View Buying Advice At the bottom of the items splash page there is a link that will allow you to view buying advice for the type of products that you are interested in. This information can come in handy when you are purchasing something that you might not know a lot about. Products with a broad range of buying options such as laptop computers, or Television sets are broken down into several options after you initially click them. Some good examples would be Mac or PC options for laptop computers and big screen or flat screen styles for televisions. Underneath these sub-categories are “buying advice” banners that allow you to research a particular purchase and aid in decision making. For example, if you are trying to decide between a Flat and regular screen Television, the buying advice for this product will detail the benefits of purchasing a flat screen TV over those of a regular big screen with a convex picture tube. Another instance where this feature can come in handy is when purchasing gifts. A grandmother buying a video game console may not know firsthand what the most popular or powerful console is. Reading the buying advice section is a quick and easy way for her to find out what system would make the best gift for her grandchild.
	Compare Similar Items The PriceRunner website is designed to make your shopping experience as simple as possible. For this reason we offer you several “filtering” options at the left side of the screen. This allows you to narrow down your search to a few key features so you can easily single out the products you want. Once you’ve got your purchase narrowed down to a few different choices, deciding between them can be difficult. PriceRunner simplifies the process even more by allowing you to compare the different features that related products might have. Simply click the check boxes next to the items you’re considering and then hit the “compare” button at the top of the screen. This will allow you to view selected products side by side. In this way you can compare not only the price, but features, and other aspects of an item before choosing what to buy. This feature can be helpful when you know what you want but may be having a hard time deciding which model has the most additional features and best suits your needs.
	Read Reviews Once you’ve narrowed down your search to a few products why not read a couple of reviews before making your final decision? PriceRunner contains both merchant and product reviews. This allows you not only to see the consumer opinion of the product but also of the retailer who is selling the product. Professional reviews are listed next to the product under the “professional rating” tab and consumer reviews are located next to the product beneath the “consumer rating” heading. Although not all products may have posted reviews right away many of our more popular listings will. We also track several popular review sites such as www.resellerratings.com, www.zdnet.com and www.cnet.com etc. Feel free to contact us if we’re missing a review source that you think offers good quality consumer information. User input is an integral part of what makes PriceRunner such a great service. After all, the customer will know what they need better than anyone else!
	View Detailed Product Info. Click the link that reads "View Detailed Product Information" to see the individual specifications for a product of your choosing. This is a great way to see if a product has the features you want before finalizing a purchase. This page will show you a detailed spec sheet on the product you are looking at. This will give you the opportunity to see each and every feature that it has so you can be absolutely sure you are getting what you want before you make a purchase.
