Make summer last longer with outdoor heaters

Matilda Hansson

Not ready to give up on summer just yet? Then a patio heater might be for you, it will help you stay warm so you can keep enjoying those last few precious days of summer.

Stretch the summer months

We have arguably been spending a fair bit at home and enjoying more social situations outdoors, and with the colder months upon us, we're not ready to give up on our cosy outdoor space just yet. Enter outdoor heaters. A good outdoor heater will help you stay warm whilst also adding a cozy ambience that will ensure that you can enjoy your outdoors space well into the wee hours.

How to choose an outdoor heater

  1. Type of space

Different spaces are better suited for different typed of heaters. If you have a small balcony you will require a smaller perhaps less powerful heater whilst a larger patio area will require a more powerful heater, you may even need two depending on your space. Remember that heaters will also attract insects, so bear this in mind if you live in a very wildlife rich area.

  2. Size of your space

Make sure that you get a heater that suits the size of your space as a heater that is placed further away will be less effective and a heater that is meant for a smaller area won't fullfil it's proper function if the space is too large. Every heater should supply information on the area it is meant for.

  3. Is it price worthy

There are many great heaters from different price points. And the most expensive options might not always be the best for you, make sure that you know what you want in terms of performance and functions and then look for models that fall under those categories.
