Bowers & Wilkins are late on the puck with their first true wireless-lurking PI7, but the wait is well worth. The sound is incomparable and the best that anyone has managed to bring out in a pair of headphones of this type. Just as it should, the soundscape is tight and neutral. The bass sound is mafia and distinctive. It doesn't float out and take over the soundscape. As so often with good headphones, PI7 manages to attract nuances in music that no competitors can manage. One superfeature is that the case can be connected to an analog sound source, digitizing the sound and passing it on to the headphones. Magical! Two things disturb: Unable to adjust the volume of sound via the headphones, and noise reduction does not give a wow feel. The price tag is at the swastika level, but actually reasonable. Quality costs, and that's exactly what we get.
