Is there anything more quintessentially British than a day in the park? We know we've missed it, but we're happy to be out and able to enjoy a picnic in the nice weather. But why not make the first picnic/ park day a bit more special? We have some simple tips on how to create the ultimate park day and don't forget your sunscreen!

The aesthetics

Don't scrimp out on the aesthetics! Go all out with a beautiful blanket, to floral decoration and nice plates. Go for a theme or simply whichever aesthetics you prefer. Set the ambience with your favourite sound using a portable speaker.

Dress up

Get your finest dress our outfit that you've been dying to wear all day and lounge around in the park! Why not channel your inner Elizabeth Bennett or Daphne Bridgerton, or whatever fits the look of your picnic.

Say cheese

Now that you've got the picnic set up of your dreams and you're dressed to impress, make sure to take plenty of pictures and document the day, we're talking full on Vogue photoshoot here!

Bon appetite

Have a decadent spread of your favourite dishes and drinks! Don't forget the cooler box, so that you drinks stay nice and chilled. If you want to save some money and work, have everyone bring a dish of their choice and do a picnic potluck.

Let the games begin

Is a day in the park really complete without some fun games? Of course bring the classics like a football and frisbee, but why not try out some fun new things, like croquette or the Swedish game "kubb".
