Thermal Paste

Thermal paste is a substance that improves heat transfer between a computer's CPU or GPU and its heatsink. By filling microscopic gaps, it ensures efficient cooling and prevents overheating. Choosing the right thermal paste can enhance your system's performance and longevity.

To apply thermal paste, clean the CPU surface, then place a small amount (about the size of a pea) in the center. Press the heatsink down evenly to spread it. Proper application ensures optimal heat transfer and prevents air bubbles.

Reusing thermal paste is not recommended because it loses effectiveness once removed. Fresh application ensures better heat conduction and prevents potential damage from overheating. Always clean off old paste before applying new.
