Water Tap
There are two types of water taps when it comes to water temperature.
Cold water only. The most common type of water ejector only directs cold water outdoors, which is why it is equipped with only one regulator.
Hot and cold water. If you want to be able to control the water temperature, you need a water ejector for both hot and cold water. This can be a good idea if you have sensitive plants or if you want to use the water ejector when washing your car.
Backflow preventer: Your water ejector should be equipped with a backflow preventer so that contaminated water or hazardous chemicals can’t enter through the water ejector.
Anti-freeze: If you live where it is cold, it’s a good idea if your ejector chute is self-draining so that water doesn’t collect in the pipe. This eliminates the risk of frost damage.
Where are you going to fit the water ejector? Not only do you need to take your house’s plumbing into account, you should also position the water ejector so that it reaches the maximum surface area without having to extend the water hose. When it comes to height placement, 60 centimetres above ground level is the norm. But you should of course choose what is most convenient for you.
