Three tips when buying volumiser
You can achieve even better results by using shampoos and conditioners with a volumising effect. By using a boosting volumiser after washing, flat hair becomes a thing of the past. Fine hair for instance benefit from use of a volumiser especially for fine hair.
Volumisers are available in different formulas. Which is best depends not only on taste, but also on the type of hair you have.
- Cream volumizer. Penetrates the hair and provides fullness.
- Spray volumizer. Volumises and easy to apply even on dry hair.
- Powder volumizer. Lifts at the roots and creates a dry texture for lift. It's important not to apply too much, as it gives hair a slightly rough texture. One alternative could be to find a volumising dry shampoo.
There are highly effective volumisers that improve hair volume by creating a structure that prevents the hair from collapsing and becoming flat. But if you use too much, your hair will get tangled and not be as voluminous as you wanted.
