Kérastase Hair Oils

It’s in the name, oil for your hair. Most commonly, it’s used to repair dry or damaged hair and to improve hair growth and thickness, but it’s a versatile product and can be used in many ways. Like reducing frizziness, shorten drying time and make it easier for your hair to untangle when brushing it.

There are many different ways you can use coconut oil to improve your hair’s health. When using coconut oil, remember to start with as little as possible and add as you go.

Hair mask: Apply coconut oil throughout your hair and let it sit for a couple of hours. If your hair is in big need of help, you can leave it overnight, before washing it out. Scalp treatment: Massage a small amount of the oil into your scalp before bed. Wash it off with shampoo in the morning. Conditioner: Use shampoo as usual, but then apply coconut oil to the midsection of your hair and comb through to the tips.

Your hair type determines which hair oil is good for you. Generally, most natural oils like coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil and olive oil, to name a few, work for all types of hair. Hair works to improve your hair health, targeting issues like dry or dull hair, damaged hair, dandruff prone hair, frizzy hair and slow-growing hair.

1–2 times a week is enough. If you do it every day you might attract dirt and eliminate essential oils from your hair. Make sure you’re gentle when applying your oil as careless combing and roughly massaging your hair with oil can cause breakage.

You can find everything from natural, specially formulated and luxurious oils, to affordable, softening and shine-enhancing ones.
