3 tips when shopping for earrings

If you have sensitive ears, you know how uncomfortable it can be to wear earrings. Many materials can cause itchiness and soreness, so it's important to choose the right type of earring. We recommend earrings made from materials like titanium, gold, surgical steel, or sterling silver.

Choosing between gold and silver is mostly a matter of personal preference.

Your skin tone can also play a role in what looks best on you. If you have fair skin with cool undertones, silver and white gold will usually suit you best. If you have darker skin or warmer tones, gold will be a good choice. But don't be afraid to mix it up and try new things.

Still unsure about what type of earring to choose? Head over to Simone Walsh Jewellery for more tips on choosing between silver and gold.

There are many types of earrings to choose from. We bring you the most common ones:

Huggie hoops or ear huggies are small rings that hug your lobes. Creole earrings are larger rings, often referred to as hoops. Studs are classic earrings with a motif on the front and a clasp on the back. Ear cuffs can be worn even if you don't have pierced ears, as they clip onto the edge of your ear.
