Over the past few weeks we have received multiple reports of people being contacted by recruiters claiming to be or to be working on behalf of PriceRunner for a scheme where you can earn money by writing reviews of brands and products etc.
Some have been contacted through Telegram, WhatsApp and others through Facebook, they have been redirected to a fake website where they are being promised to earn money and commission based on how much they contribute only to end up having to pay to correct a balance.
These recruiters and sites are in no way affiliated with PriceRunner.
We would like to stress that these recruiters and websites are not at all associated with PriceRunner in any capacity. They are deceitful scams falsely claiming to be operating as PriceRunner.
All official communication from PriceRunner is conducted through our verified social media channels or emails, all other contact from external recruiting sources should be disregarded. We do not issue any "Letter of Guarantee" concerning the status of an account.
Please stay alert and be aware of anything that seems unusual or suspicious. If you encounter such a letter or any communication that raises suspicion, we urge you to get in touch with us promptly.
We are currently taking action against the aforementioned actors.
