The way this alarm clock works is that you set a time when you want to wake up, and then the alarm clock gradually turns up the light for a 30-minute period to wake you up as gently as possible. It can also work the other way around, by slowly dimming the light in the evening to help you fall asleep easier.
Apart from this, you can also set a beeping alarm if you want. This can be snoozed with a tap. The large digital display on the front shows you the time and has all the controls. It automatically adjusts the brightness as the room gets darker.
