This watch will provide you with water protection measured to 5 atm (50m). Leather is one of the available materials for the strap. It has analogue hands for a more classic look.

The annoying thing about some watches is that you have to wind them up by hand occasionally. With Perigraph (MS-332) you won't have to, since it is self-winding. This means that the spring winds itself up with help from your wrist movements.

Water protection on watches can come off as confusing and misleading. It is measured in meters and ATM (atmospheres), in this case, 5 ATM (50m). This has nothing to do with how deep you can dive with the watch, but it is perfectly fine to go swimming with it.

The glass that covers the watch face is made from sapphire, which is the by far best choice if you're looking for a durable watch. When you've had your watch for a few years and the case starts to look a bit worn, then the glass will still look brand new. The only material stronger than sapphire is diamond, which means it takes quite a bit of force (or a great deal of bad luck) to break it. Thanks to its strength it is also very resistant to scratches.
