3 tips when shopping for facial cleansers

To keep your skin feeling great, use products that suit your skin type. No skin likes to be dehydrated - even oily skin needs moisture to stay balanced.

Normal skin is pretty well balanced, so using a face wash that focuses on moisture can work wonders.
Dry skin often feels tight and can look dry. So stick with a moisturising cleanser.
Oily skin looks a bit shiny and can be prone to acne and blackheads. This is often because your skin is producing too much sebum. But don't be tempted to try and dry it out - that can actually make things worse by triggering even more sebum production. Stick to a gentle cleansing routine and use products specifically designed for oily skin to help keep things under control.

When it comes to facial cleansers, there's no shortage of options out there. From oil to balm, foaming to mousse, and even micellar water, it can be hard to know where to start.

If you're worried about dryness, foaming cleansers might not be your best bet. On the other hand, oils are great for all skin types, especially if you're prone to dryness or oiliness. And don't forget to switch things up with the seasons - what works in summer might not be the best choice for winter.
